Such a unique experience walking around this island!! We went when the weather was a bit bad so it was pretty empty. Really good signage, lots of lookout point, plenty of space, good accessible trails.
Took around 2 hours ish with frequent stops and at a leisurely pace.
I had an absolutely breathtaking experience at Goat Island in Niagara Falls. The natural beauty here is awe-inspiring. Walking along the trails and feeling the mist from the falls on my face was a surreal and unforgettable moment. The views of both the American and Horseshoe Falls are simply stunning. It's a must-visit destination for anyone coming to Niagara Falls. The park is well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and informative. Whether you're a nature enthusiast or just looking for a place to relax and appreciate the wonders of nature, Goat Island is the perfect spot. I can't recommend it enough!
The park was very well built and maintained. We went early in the morning and were able to get into the parking lot. Going there in the morning has another advantage which is to see the rainbow. (Rainbow is visible in the afternoon on the Canadian side).
It’s an amazing place to visit. Easy to walk and entire loop is 2 miles. Best way to see the entire place. Veterans Day but in November it wasn’t busy.
Super cool place, but there is no where to rent a kayak to shred the gnar.
I did go with heavy fog and early in the morning, I was still able to see everything.
I am more excited for the Canadian side though, it looks like a party over there.
This side is pretty good to just chill and take it easy
You can get an incredibly close view of the falls from here. Unlike the commercialized recreational area on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, this place isn’t solely focused on business. Here, you can conveniently park your car for only $10. Visiting this island is truly a remarkable experience, and it would be a great loss if someone doesn’t take the opportunity to see it.
We ware there by walking, there is two bridges to cross the river.
Walk around to see the nature and greenery.
If you are a bird lover you have more options there.
Island itself a beautiful place and man made road and walkways are cleaned and well managed looks everywhere and everything convenient.
Cheers and enjoy your quality time.
Goat Island is a small island in the Niagara River, in the middle of Niagara Falls between the Bridal Veil Falls and the Horseshoe Falls. Two parking sites available and you can check parking fee from the Niagara Falls website. Cave of the winds is located in the Goat Island.
Great place to pull over and stretch your legs. Nice parking lot and an easy walk over to the old Stone Chimney which has an interesting history that is worth reading.
Absolutely incredible stay at the Butler House! My boyfriend and I came up to Niagara as a quick weekend trip before the start of the hectic holiday season and we were highly impressed by the house, its proximity to the state park, and the amazing br
Awesome drinks, great prices, and very kind bartenders! I ordered a cucumber jalapeño margarita which was delicious and made with all fresh ingredients. Our bartender gave us great recommendations on where to go to get away from the touristy Niagara

This viewpoint is probably the best you will find on the US side of the Niagara Falls. If you are going to the other paid attractions on Goat Island, you must definitely walk to this viewpoint! It gives you a very close view of the Horseshoe Bend and
The power of the water blows you away. While the other falls may be larger this is equally as impressive. I read a sign that it said 75000 gallons per second go over these falls. Incredible to be there. Even better in the fall with the colorful folia
We went to Niagara Falls on the NY side to celebrate our wedding anniversary and would highly recommend it!
The parking was very accessible and close to the walking trails, and the entire park was very well maintained. It was patrolled by several ra
I've had wings from all over WNY, and all over the US... I can honestly say, without lying, that their wings are my favorite. Consistently perfect. Not rubbery, not chewy, crunchy, enough sauce, great flavor... I can find no fault. Bravo. I've been r
Nice way to give recognition to a very well renowned scientist that shaped modern world so vastly. The various attractions around Niagara Falls will espouse on the contributions of Nikola Tesla, so be sure to read more about him while touring Niagara
My daughter and I traveled to Buffalo for the AFC playoffs and came across this place because it was close to the hotel the day of the game. As soon as we walked in in our Bengals gear they booed us. But there were smiles behind those boos and simpl
I love finding these fantastic little hidden gems!! Family-run for decades, you need to eat here, and you'll be very thankful you did! It's not much to look at from the outside, but you take a step back in time when you go inside. The bar is in the f
