Go Chicken Go - Chicken restaurant in Kansas City - 5101 Troost Ave, USA

One of my favorite go to spots when I'm in the area. The gizzards were my all time fave but it seems the recipe has changed and they aren't as good. Back to the chicken wing pack I go!

First time there. They were busy so you know it's good. Delish chicken, Mac and mashed. Prices are comparable. Big pieces of chicken. Very happy with my unplanned stop.

If you know you know, lol, I haven't been to the troost location for a very long time, they were busy but I went during lunch so I expected that, but I don't think there was any difference from here to any other location

I can't say an ill word one about this amazing place. It's just a miracle that we have this place in KC—like a white castle but much more rare and tasty. Much more rare and tasty, indeed. Eat your heart out, white castle. And your liver. And gizzard.😋 🍗

I ordered half order of livers/gizzard mix w/2 rolls. Barely received any food. It didn't even cover the bottom of the box. This might be my last time going. I remember when your box used to be full and barely room-enough for the roll. Now your barely getting any food. Now, what you get is still good food but too little food for too much money.

Never had a bad meal from here. Even when they are crazy busy which is quite often, the food is still always good and fresh. The only issue I have is sometimes the line for the drive thru pushes out into the street. But that's to expected with how popular go chicken go is and how busy they get. Ive had everything from the family meals all the way to the chicken wraps and then some and everything was always good.

I have not had Go Chicken Go in about 3 years. I was on this end of town taking a class. I said I need to stop there. The food was horrible. Extremely long line to get in. I just dislike seeing employees out front smoking cigarettes, eating, ect. I was praying that I got through the line before they went back in. I just knew they weren't going to wash their hands. And sure enough they didn't! "Go to Kansas it's better & quicker."

I loved the food. Omg the sauce is so delicious. I'm from Louisiana and this was the first place that I came to that really had season on their food. I will most definitely return back.
