This is a nice trail for when you don't want to go too far but want a scenic reward at the end. The trail has an observation tower where one can see for miles above the mangroves. The trail ends at a small covered area with benches right on the channel. Sometimes people fish from this spot, but it is usually pretty quite even when others are around. Lots of cute little crabs live in the mangroves by the water. Beware the huge yellow orb weaver spiders in later summer!!
Love the trail that is enclosed by trees, and leads to to a tower that over looks a beautiful scene.
But it doesn't stop there. The trail continues if it is open to a dock with a gazebo for shade.
Very short hike through some mangroves to a small dock with a covered seating area. There are also some stairs that lead to a lookout about halfway through the trail. People afraid of spiders should avoid this whole hike. The spiderwebs were above and on the sides of the whole trail (I thought they were cool). I would recommend staying on the trail unless you want to be in a swamp. I will be back.

Great escape from commercial city living, even though it's three blocks away. The crab spiders are pretty to see in the trees, the mangroves themselves are very pretty, and finally the end boardwalk and lookout tower is exceptional to end the walk.
Nice short walk to an easy to climb viewing tower.
Cute boardwalk, however no dogs allowed. The boardwalk was longer than I anticipated.
The lookout tower isn't really that exciting, you see the tops of trees, so I wish it was somewhere with a better view.

Nice stroll through Florida mangroves with a view of the Glover Bight Canal at the end of the trail. We saw a lot of Ibis and other birds as well as small crabs with there claws peeking out. There is a bench by the tower and at the canal in case you need to rest. With walking up the tower the total walk is .7 miles.

Very good vives in this Park, kids had a very good time. The park was remodeled recently. The only downside is that sometimes is really crowded. We definitely need more parks like this in Cape.

Very nice park with plenty to do, whether it be kids or family. It's a good-sized park with plenty of space for everyone. Playground is big and fenced in with benches. Parents can sit on and a nice path you can walk that goes alk the way around the
