Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a lovely welcome. |Jordan and the entire team at Glorietta Bay Inn were so gracious! ||My family and I checked into our suite, and once we got to our room we were surprised with a kind note, a bottle of wine and goodies for my kiddos. ||This is a great hotel as you're walking distance to the beach, all the local shops and restaurants in Coronado. ||In the morning we had their continental breakfast and took a nice stroll to the beach. ||It was a wonderful stay and we hope to be back soon!
We had the most wonderful experience at Glorietta Bay Inn. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing! Every staff member we encountered, from the receptionists to the housekeepers were eager to help. The breakfast was delicious! The location was great with easy access to the beach, shops, and restaurants (everything was within walking distance). It was the perfect hotel for a getaway! We will be coming back! Thank you so much!
The accommodations are just what I needed. Located within a slew of very expensive resorts, the Glorietta Bay Inn is family friendly, convenient to beaches and town and historically interesting. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean. The breakfast is delicious and FREE. And the staff are so hospitable and kind. I rarely leave a hotel excited to bring my family there, yet I can't wait to show my son the beautiful mansion.
Perfect location, great staff, great breakfast. Loved the history of the hotel and great view from our room. Not as clean as I would have liked and dated washroom. We walked everywhere... minutes to hop on hop off trolley tour, Orange Street for excellent restaurants and shopping, to the beach and to explore Hotel Coronado. If we could have afforded it, I would have stayed there. Do it if you can- looks incredible.
This hotel is a wonderful gem in a picturesque location. The staff was very attentive and friendly. It is convenient but a little off the beaten path so you get both advantages. I had a great stay!||I really enjoyed the intimate feel of the Inn but with the convenience and amenities you would expect from a high end boutique hotel. I will definitely be staying here again.
Half and half. The view from my bedroom and balcony was amazing. The room needs maintenance. The tub leaked and was in poor shape, the walls are not properly painted and the toilet you have to sit on sideways. I was in the Sugar Baron room. The staff were amazing though and a half decent breakfast is included. Also with the shared balcony you are taking a chance with the next room ie the couple were fighting. I was kept awake by someone just sneezing as the walls are thin.
Hotel is directly across the street from The Del and a very easy, short walk to the beach. Continental breakfast is good with eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, etc. . The staff were wonderful and very accommodating. Pool is very small, we preferred going to the beach. Rooms are OK, not updated and a bit small. Carpet seemed pretty old. If you going to be out and about and not in your room much this is a great hotel.
We have visited many times and one reason is the thoughtful, caring manager, Claudia Ludlow. We love the location and facilities and the overall hospitality. The rooms are well appointed and spotless and the complimentary breakfast is delicious.
I was visiting the San Diego area with my wife and 5 year old for a wedding and decided to stay at the Del Coronado because it was close to the beach. We also liked the fact it seemed to be kid friendly, had activities going on, great views, and a hi
My husband surprised me with a two night stay at the Beach Village to celebrate our 8 year anniversary. We are still talking about it. Jay helped my husband with all of details on places to celebrate, little surprises in our room, and just with the w
So excited for URT to finally have a brick & mortar spot in townâ¦right where they belong, back where it all began!! I gotta say, we have been stopping by once a week since they opened. The store looks fantastic, and stoked to see they are fully sto
This place is ideal for those people who are curious about what they are drinking, you have a variety of flights to choose from... whiskey, cognac, wines, tequila, vodka, etc. the care is excellent. I tried the hummus that comes with mini carrots a
I brought my kids to this library for their kids library section. The section is very clean, well equipped, arranged, and they provide plenty of choice of books. We love this library.
This park is a must when visiting San Diego! I make sure to take everyone here at night when they visit here! Super pretty at night and some of the best views of the downtown skyline Iâve seen:)
Big, beautiful beaches. Lots of restaurants and shops. Was here just before Christmas so a lot of lights and decorations were up and there was an outdoor skating rink at the Hotel Coronado. What an amazing place that is. Hope to come back again soon.
