Global Shop is a cornerstone in the success of our company. As a former executive at a Fortune 150 company, I had prior experience implementing ERP's on a Global Scale. After purchasing a large manufacturing/fabrication company in 2021, I chose Global Shop because of the quality of the software, but more importantly, the quality of the people at Global Shop. Implementing an ERP on any scale will be challenging. Each of the ERP implementations I was part of or led was very challenging. The first months, even the first year can reveal configuration issues that looked great on paper but needed to be re-visited, training and capability issues with your team, incomplete information holding up transactions, conflict between your old processes and the new ERP, etc, etc, etc. That's part of the process. Don't give up and certainly don't attack or dispose of your own investment. Communicate with the Global Shop team, engage with their user community through the tools they've provided and you will eventually get to where you want to be. In 2003, I chose Global Shop after looking at 23 different ERP packages. 21 years later, this is still the best business decision that we have made. Global Shop has proven to be a leader in ERP development, continually enhancing and providing more solutions for their customers. As a company, Global Shop cannot be beat. Worst ERP system ever. Lots of tidias steps to do what should be simple tasks. Little help from global shop, I feel they have less knowledge about their system then we do. Many tickets. I have heard complaints from sales to accounting, manufacturing, shipping as to how difficult this system is. This system is NOT user friendly. Promised specific capabilities only to find out it wasn't available after purchase. This system has "gliches" where it will stop recording data and will add more inventory to an item then whats in the BOM. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ERP!
