These guys do a great job of stocking hard to find items for hunting, items I can’t even find in ANY of the big box stores between Salt Lake City and Grand Junction. It’s also great to support local, and if you’re bowhunter, they have an indoor range and techs on hand to get you dialed in. Highly recommended, knowledgeable staff!
Broke my arrows in the field on my first elk hunt not only did they have what I needed but even tho the techs were all hunting they allowed me to fetch my own arrows! Was from out of commission to ready in an hr and they were beyond reasonable priced
FANTASTIC experience!! We were lucky to get a tour with this place. Went out in 30 degree blowing-snow weather, but had such a great time with our guide Trey that we weren’t even thinking about it! We were given all of the gear we needed, he brought us hand and toe warmers, brought water, and as we were walking he kept checking to make sure we were doing alright. Trey helped us across the rocks and made a path for us and our truck! He was the full-service package! We were able to catch fish but the experience was so much more than catching fish. Adam was the only one in the shop, and it was busy, but made sure we were taken care of and set out tour up. Thank you both. We will be buying gift cards to give our family the same experience, and we’ll be back to learn more in the summer.
I recently made a trip from NC to CO to hunt elk. I had never been hunting or shot a bow before. I bought a bow a little more than a month before my trip and practiced a lot to where I felt comfortable shooting. One person in my party drove to CO so I gave him all of my gear while I flew out there with another person. When we got to our final destination, I realized that someone mixed up my bow and brought the wrong one. I have a 32.5" draw length so it wasn't a simple task in finding a replacement. I didn't want to waste my trip without hunting. Glenwood Springs Outdoors was the closest place we would find that had bows that would work for me. We went and met their archery person, Briggs. He set me up right away. He was very thorough and knowledgeable about what he was doing. The rest of the staff was very friendly. If you need any outdoor supplies and are near this place I would greatly suggest stopping by.
Wet disappointed with this store. Website advertised that they have an archery range with equipment rentals. With that information I drove over an hour from Vail to partake in some archery range practice. I have been planning to buy a bow very soon here and a somewhat local shop seemed to be the way to go. To my dismay, when I arrived I was told they stopped renting out equipment several months ago and could do nothing for me. For the amount of time and money I wasted, the lack of sympathy from the staff was less than professional. A simple update of your website takes but a few minutes, which could have saved someone like me over an hour out of my weekend and over 100 miles worth in gas spent, which we all know is as close to unaffordable as could possibly be these days. If I could give 0 stars I would give a 00. Looks like I’ll be bringing my business to Denver even though that’s what I was trying to avoid
Definitely recommend this place. My wife and I really enjoyed our first fly fishing experience for our anniversary. Our guide Cam was professional, competent, kind, attentive, and all around superb!
I went into Glenwood outdoors to get setup with fly fishing gear. Completely new to this I was confused and unsure. The two guys working there helped me out tremendously! Aiden had incredible knowledge on what to start with and not break the bank. He worked with me and so did a guy named Erik. Which was also super helpful. Overall, great experience and it was so nice to have help!!
Stopped by to check it out. Way better experience than your big box stores. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. With a supply of ammo that will surprise you. The Go to spot in Glennwood Springs.

Great way to start an early birthday celebration! David was awesome and chose some shots for us that were so delicious. It's dog-friendly and you can bring in food from elsewhere. Love supporting our local craft distillers!
Perfect place for a stay in Glenwood Springs! Close to everything, also safe and quiet. Super cozy, but I can't say enough about the VIEW. We stayed in the Colorado suite and it was the best view to wake up to in the mornings. Make sure you stop by D
We really enjoyed the hike! Beautiful- enough of a challenge, but not so difficult that someone that doesn't always hike can't do it. We hiked it in comfortable shoes, and jeans. My husband carried our 9 month old on his back just fine. We are fairl

My favorite combination of low key and nice dinner. You canât go wrong with the short rib and the calamari. The specials are typically a strong item as well. Oh and also the chicken lollipops are great. Come as a family dinner or a nice dinner with
I loved this place!! They are popular, so don't expect to be in and out. The owner and all staff were super nice. He helped me decide what to get and gave me some sausage gravy on the side of my sandwich, and it was delicious! He also gave us free sh
