I came to this hotel for mineral baths and massage. I like it. I love old hotels with history... Of course everything is old, but there are no Taras and no ants. the service is excellent, everyone is attentive, the mineral water is good, excellent masseuses, cool bartenders...
Amazing hot spring. Two pools here. One large one that is just warm, and a smaller one that is hot like a hot tub! There are a lot of seats that have hers built in, and 3 showers you can stand under that are high pressured. I really enjoyed the whole experience. Day passes aren’t cheap but it’s worth it.
This is a bargain if you use it. Steam showers, saunas, whirlpool, workout equipment, racquetball courts, yoga classes, spinning classes…. And more classes and of course the world famous pool. Your own locker, club member party… we’ve been a member for 17 years.
It’s very big and if you’re looking for a relaxing time. This isn’t the hot springs for you.
Great place for the entire family. The hot spring pools are amazing and waterslides for everyone of all ages.
This place is a resort, so you'll pay out the wazoo to use the gym even if you are staying at the Hotel Colorado. Please be aware that although common staff are extremely friendly and helpful, never ask to speak to a manager. They are entitled tools that just want your money.
Update as of 2018: I'm down grading my review to three stars after moving back to the valley. While it still provides great access to both the pool and athletic facilities, the cost of the membership does not match the condition of the club. The lockers are at least 20 years old (and look it with peeling wood), the carpet shows water stains of many past visitors, and throughout there is an increased "dingy" feel. I was really disappointed to see how little the club was reinvesting in their facilities, particularly at the membership price point being as high as it is. We decided not to rejoin the club unless improvements are on the horizon.
Original post: I was a member of the club for many, many years, and had a great experience (I've since moved, otherwise I would still be a member!). The facilities are always in good shape, clean, and provide everything I could want in a club. The ability to work out, play racquetball, soak in the pool, and finish off with a steam or sauna is fantastic, and the showers and amenities provide a nice end to the whole experience. Without the club, I wouldn't have frequented the pool nearly as often. The only thing I would say is that the weights are pretty old, but certainly not in any state that would make me uncomfortable using them. Lifelong fan :).
I've been coming here since I was a kid, so I've had a whole range of experiences from poor to excellent. It's still one of my favorite places in Glenwood because of the pool. The workout area is pretty good. It's not big by any means but it seems to be relatively clean and taken care of. I do enjoy working out here but they do keep the temp on the warm side, probably for the people coming in and out of the pool. I haven't taken a class for a very long time but when I used to thoroughly enjoy them. The front desk staff has been where I've had issues but it's also where I've received excellent service. It really just comes down to the person themself, so it can be inconsistent. I'm guessing training might be responsible for the wide range of experiences I've had over the years. The changing rooms are typically clean, however being a former janitor I have noticed it when they've gone through periods of lower standards than I'd expect for the price. I understand this might be a "pool side" issue but I have had issues with lifeguards being extremely rude during closing time. It hasn't happened often but I've been yelled at for going to the club instead of the pool side which wasn't appropriate. And I don't mean just yelling to make sure they're heard, but like yelled at rudely even after explaining I belong to the club. I get that the lifeguards are usually younger but this shouldn't have happened. Overall I'll still keep coming back because of what the place is but I can't say it's an excellently run facility. I think they know they have something nowhere else has so they can slip up a little on customer service and not feel repurcussions.

Great way to start an early birthday celebration! David was awesome and chose some shots for us that were so delicious. It's dog-friendly and you can bring in food from elsewhere. Love supporting our local craft distillers!
These guys do a great job of stocking hard to find items for hunting, items I canât even find in ANY of the big box stores between Salt Lake City and Grand Junction. Itâs also great to support local, and if youâre bowhunter, they have an indoor
We really enjoyed the hike! Beautiful- enough of a challenge, but not so difficult that someone that doesn't always hike can't do it. We hiked it in comfortable shoes, and jeans. My husband carried our 9 month old on his back just fine. We are fairl
Perfect place for a stay in Glenwood Springs! Close to everything, also safe and quiet. Super cozy, but I can't say enough about the VIEW. We stayed in the Colorado suite and it was the best view to wake up to in the mornings. Make sure you stop by D

My favorite combination of low key and nice dinner. You canât go wrong with the short rib and the calamari. The specials are typically a strong item as well. Oh and also the chicken lollipops are great. Come as a family dinner or a nice dinner with
I loved this place!! They are popular, so don't expect to be in and out. The owner and all staff were super nice. He helped me decide what to get and gave me some sausage gravy on the side of my sandwich, and it was delicious! He also gave us free sh
