I was traveling with a coworker the other day and we stopped in at Glen’s for lunch. It was 12 noon and the place was packed which to me, is a sign of a great place to eat. We opted to sit at the counter so we wouldn’t have to wait for a table due to our limited time to stop. Chrissy (Hope I spelled it right, forgive me if I didn’t) waited on us and despite the hustle of the lunch rush was very friendly, courteous and right on point with her suggestion of the meatloaf special. The atmosphere at Glen’s has a hometown, nostalgic feel with lots of memorabilia to look at while you wait for your food. The chalkboard and sign above the refrigerated case behind the counter really nails the feeling of this new found foodie gem in my opinion. Prices are average, food was excellent for my first time there but have no reason to believe it wouldn’t be on my next visit and there will be plenty more visits in the future. Be nice or go home and Life is short, eat the Bacon says it all.
Nice 50’s dinette feel/atmosphere. Unique options like smiley pancakes.
But, the Homemade chips were burnt.
We would give another try when we are in the area for lunch though.
Food is the BEST! Just had breakfast with my son and husband. My son ordered a double order of French toast and absolutely loved it. I had a very generous order of pancakes. I ate one took the other 3 home to enjoy tomorrow. My husband had the eggs and bacon which he loves! We have been loyal customers for many many years. Our favorite place for breakfast and lunch. Our server was kind, attentive & very personable which just made our day. Of course we will go back again & again. The owner and his wife are have a terrific establishment and it shows by how many customers they always have. 👏👏👏☺️
Finally had the opportunity to have a breakfast here and it was delightful! Small place, so be prepared to wait - it IS worth it. Staff is friendly and attentive. The Idaho was deliciousness on a plate! Very recommended, hope to return again soone when not touring!
Talk about a breakfast staple in Long Island!!! Conveniently located in the heart of Babylon next to all sorts of stores, this is THE spot for breakfast and lunch. For breakfast it's a must to get the Idaho, it's their specialty plate filled with home fries, bacon, shallots, cheese, and two eggs on top. Yummmmmm
What an awesome Dinette! They had a nice menu, huge choices for breakfast. The food and service were great. Cool place to eat! Next time, I'm getting the Pulled Pork Cuban Sandwich!
What an amazing intimate breakfast spot. Food was delicious, large portions and friendly staff. Sat at the counter and had a view of the cooks which was cool to watch. Can’t wait to come back, and try lunch!

Lovely little spot in Babylon Village. Great and friendly service. Food was excellent. Had a lovely apple mimosa and my husband had a really nice wine cocktail. He had the pistou vegetable stew with over easy eggs and a salad. I had Serrano ham
Nice easy walk, good seating and wonderful bird watching. The great blue heron sat motionless for about an hour, the ospreys were diving for fish and the birds were merrily chirping in the trees.
First of all, the drive to this place is awesome! You have to cross many bridges and the route is very scenic. We paid $10 for the parking (Field 5) and there is ample space even during weekends.
There is a boardwalk from the main beach to the Fire I

Fantastic food. The duck, the rice, and the dumplings were excellent. Well priced. The service was great. Waters didnât stay empty for long. (I didnât use the flash so the picture look like trash but it was very appealing in person)
