My family and I moved here from Kentucky a little over a year ago. Once I heard about Valplayso, I had to take my kids there to check it out. It was the cutest and most entertaining park we've ever been to. I will continue to take my kids here!
This is the best park around! Lots of different themed play structures (vikings, tree house, fire truck, space ship...). The whole place is accessible, so it's easy for parents to play with kids, too. My toddler loves playing here! The bathrooms are closed for winter, but the picnic area and Free Little Library near the restrooms are still good to go in winter! I also love that the toddler area is gated all the way around except the entrance, and the bigger area is also gated except for the two entrances (one on each side). There are also plenty of benches scattered throughout.
Everything was great for our family reunion. The only thing I recommend to pretty much ALL parks is to add ADA parking near the shelter and a spot for loading and unloading supplies and people. Our group has a few young ladies in their 90s, and some others are in wheelchairs or using walkers. The trek from the main lot, past the playground, and then to the shelter was a lot for some of our group. That's the only thing I recommend at this time.
Wow what a great place to take your kids. So many areas to play very safe areas. Gliding swings, towers to climb, ropes, trampoline, zip lines, things to balance walk on. A separate play area for 4 and under. We really enjoyed it. my only complaint is there's no shade in the play area we have to go out the gated area to the picnic pavilion. It would be nice to have some triangular tarps for shade set up. All in all a great place. There is a public restroom there as well as an open field if you like to fly kites.
Great place for my children to play. The two entrances definitely make it feel safe, for a parent that is anxious about crowds.
My son loves this park. We stop by at least 3 days a week. Newer to the area and this is hands down the best park we have visited. Plenty of things to do. Love the toddler section. Very safe area. Picnic area. Fun times!
Great playground! The kids loved it. Sections for little & big kids. Could use some sun shade though.
Lovely park for the kids to play at. Nothing super fancy but more than most in the area. Has contained areas for younger children and larger areas for older kids to play. Has a wonderful shaded sitting area and restrooms available.

This is a great place to go for a walk or hike! I enjoy coming here to fish the lake, although it is a heavily pressured lake, it's still fun! Also, they have a few playgrounds for the small children that are decent.

The owner takes pride in her craft and you can really tell this through the work that she does and the product she puts out. I'm obsessed with all the macarons, French silk tart, fruit tarts, quiche, and cheesecake. The staff is friendly and helpful
Iâve been to fluid about 10+ times now, I know small/local places have a reputation for not having consistency but fluid is a hit every single time. Every drink every time has been consistently good. Some of the best coffee Iâve ever had and the

I didnât know that this small restaurant existed until a friend recommended that I come here for supper. Itâs part of a small and quiet strip mall near the railroad tracks and doesnât stand out much from the road. However, the food here is of s
Visiting Valpo for a few days, we made a last minute change in our dinner plan, and so glad we did! Best Italian food that we have had (outside of being in Italy)! All of the pasta is homemade, which makes all the difference. Fresh, homemade bread di
Iâve only done the looping trail south and east to the parking lot. For anyone who appreciates prairies and wildlife Habitats, you will be delighted here. The trail itself is a mowed path. The times I have been here, it was well maintained. Wildf

Any time we can find a space that tells us a bit more about the new location we happen to be visiting, we try our best to stop there. The PoCo Museum is free and worth the stop. You should plan to spend an hour or two there to really get a feel for t
A really nice gallery. It's very eclectic, going from early 19th Century to Contemporary. Lots of small galleries of the main room with great surprises around each corner. Look for the Childe Hassan, Georgia O'Keeffe, Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol as
