We attend yearly and it was unimpressive this year and felt run down. They are not lighting the trees in Murphy Park due to construction on the amphitheatre and revitalizing the park area. They did place some lights and lighted decor over by the Civic Center that were decent The park area is now filled with people pulling up in vehicles and carts or setting up pop up stands to sell light up toys or homemade foods and drinks. There was also a religious group that the federal government has labeled as semi radical and a hate group shouting out their personal religious views at crowds of people. I went for a fun family night and this wasn't it. My suggestion... Travel out to Scottsdale's Princess Resort. Even if you don't want to pay for tickets to do the activities or rides, you can walk the resort and look at tons of beautifully arranged holiday lights and features.

A ghost of Christmas past is the current Glendale Glitters this year. A meager light display with hardly any businesses participating. The street food had a run-down feel and look to it, so we didn't stay very long bah humbug we got Scrooged!

This was so much fun with the kiddos. We got some great pictures, found some fun toys, had some henna done and stopped for cookies and hot chocolate with amazing live music!

Went last week and it was awful! Barely any lights/decorations. They had a section of vendors all selling the exact same things. Literally EXACT same things. They were all trying to entice people to buy their stuff. Felt like I was walking through a 3rd world market. To top it all off, someone started shooting off fireworks right in the middle of the square and it sounded like gunshots. I went with my boyfriend and our 5 month old baby and we couldn’t have escaped any faster. I went about 5 years ago last time and it was exponentially different and better. This was an incredibly awful experience and I will be traveling to Scottsdale for Christmas lights from now on.

I am not sure what has happened but there were no big vendors there. It was mostly folks selling trinkets and toys with lights. There was absolutely no entertainment what so ever. As for Christmas light displays there was a bare minimum. Very disappointed for sure. If you are thinking of going to this 2023 event, I would save you a trip

Not as great as it used to be. Very pretty but seemed like they didnt care much this year. Homeless people everywhere. The shops were closed. All the vendors sold the exact same things. Drove 30 minutes for 8 minutes worth of fun
