Glas, Coffeehouse - Cafe in Shawano - 511 N Main St, USA

My first time here and it was a very pleasant experience. All the workers were in a good mood and seemed to be enjoying their day. A lot of open space, so while having a very cozy and comfortable feel, it doesn't feel cramped. A lot of beautiful local artwork and crafts for sale and a fun artsy painting on the wall. Music that added to the atmosphere and seemed pretty neutral to everyone's tastes. The mocha was pretty standard, but I wasn't expecting anything more. The turkey wrap was light and refreshing, but still plenty filling. The chips seemed homemade (I didn't ask, so don't quote me on that) and complimented the wrap well. Definitely the type of place I could see people coming to get a coffee and hang out or get some work done. All in all, a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend it if you're in the area.

Nice coffee shop, just a stones throw off the highway. Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy friends, work or study. Great natural light with all the windows! PS Tip: people in glas coffee shops shouldn’t throw stones 😂

I went here this morning because my mom was fishing over there. I was hungry and thirsty, so decided to go here. I saw on the menu Quiche, The lady said they can't make it.... So I was like now what....? I saw the blt sandwich and got a iced caramel latte☕. The sandwich was awesome and so was my latte, usually it tastes watered down at other places, but not here... I would recommend this place for a nice Healthy breakfast to start your day out with Good energy 😋. It was a little pricey but well worth the money because it kept me full for a while!

Wish we could have tried lunch here. We arrived at 1:10pm and they close at 2:00. We were informed the kitchen was closed. Closing time shouldn't be go-home time, and customers have a reasonable expectation to be served through the posted hours. Environment looks cute, but maybe we'll try again some time.

We had a great time! Good breakfast sandwiches and lattes. We were able to sit and relax with our drinks on the patio while our toddler chased frogs for almost an hour in the grass. Happy parents and bellies :)

We were driving 1 1/2 hours to this place for coffee and menu items. When we came in, trying to order , there was three people serving customers. We have been told nothing is available from menu, only coffee and bagels. Because they short on stuff. Not sure with no customers in caffe, how three people serving only coffee can be not enough to make sandwich or avocado toast.

We stayed in Shawano over this last weekend. The fair was going on, GLAS was busy. But we still managed to visit every morning we were there. Their iced specials were to absolutely die for. We will be back whenever we’re through Shawano!
