Mary and Mark make you feel at home in this wonderfully located modern B & B overlooking the Flathead River. Breakfast is delicious, the rooms comfy, and guests have free run of the house. We were able to cook our dinner each night we stayed. Mary and Mark are outdoor enthusiasts who will help you with info on where to hike and how to deal with bears. House is full of wildlife photos and interesting reading material. It's a quick drive to the West Glacier entrance of the park. Love this place!

We can loudly echo the previous positive comments. The view from the deck is one of the best we've seen, and Mark and Mary made us feel like friends, not just paying customers; we were encouraged to use the kitchen for any needs we might have. We like to stay in B&B's mainly for the local knowledge we gain, and we weren't disappointed. Our three days running in to Glacier Park were marvelous - it's only a 10 minute drive to the park enterance- and it was very nice to return to the privacy and quiet of an entire house while other guests were still sight-seeing. Mark and Mary live 'up the hill' in their own home, so the B&B was truly a home away from home. Our only minor negative was the first night with a neighboring room playing a tv to loudly. We mentioned it to Mary who was sorry for our inconvenience, but happy to move us to a room on the main floor - the one with the bath down the hall. While the bath arrangement was a bit unusual, it certainly wasn't an inconvenience. To end on a positive note, it was a great stay in a lovely, clean, country home with a spectacular view. You can 'Google Earth' the location for a good idea of what the location is like.

Mark & Mary are really good hosts who are also nice people, besides running a great, clean, nice Bed & Breakfast. We were 2 couples from the South and East Coast who spent 3 nights at their lodge overlooking the river, and had never been to Montana, and weren't sure what to expect. If your going to Montana, their lodge is the type place you should stay. There is nothing that beats the view from the back deck, and Mary is a good cook who serves huge breakfasts. We used their lodge as a "base camp" to run into Glacier National Park every day. We had a great time, with great hosts and they are a hidden gem .......... among the government run lodges inside the park that will isolate you,

Mark and Mary were the best possible hosts for our stay in Glacier National Park. Their house is beautiful and is conveniently located near the West Entrance of the park. The house is very comfortable and has everything you would want or need during your stay. Mary makes wonderful breakfast every morning and both have great advice for making plans during your trip.

My wife and I are visiting all 58 National Parks in the USA and we've stayed at many B&B's across the country. Glacier Park Inn B & B was one of the top three of all we've stayed at...from coast to coast, North to South. We were in the Camas room. Quiet, King bed, two large, double door closets for all our hiking gear, and a Temperpedic mattress (that was a first and we've stayed in scores of hotels, lodges and B & Bs). Hosts Mark and Mary are easy going, outdoor-loving people that were eager to share hiking trail and restaurant suggestions. They offered a spotting scope on the deck overlooking the river so we could watch and study a perching Bald Eagle. Nice touch. This is bear country but we didn't bring any Bear Repellant. No problem. When I asked where I could buy a canister, fully expecting her to give me the name of her favorite Outfitters store, Mary offered a $50 canister with holster. No charge, no deposit. Speaking of deposits, the hosts didn't even require a deposit to hold the room! Another first. ||||One day we went to Waterton National Park on the Canadian border. I asked Mary if we could make our breakfast since we wanted to get an early start, before the usual 7:00 AM first call for breakfast. By the way, Mary and Mark don't have a set time for breakfast; they ask when you want to eat and then accomodate the guest. Another first. Anyway, she said we could make our own breakfast, but she would be glad to make it for us, well before 7:00AM...and she did! ||||Finally, when you're considering a stay in a place named Hungry Horse, Montana, you may be inclined to lower your expections. No need. This is a clean, comfy, well appointed mountain home, with real people as hosts, who seem to be way more interested in us than in explaining a bunch of rules and regulations. They have one rule: enjoy your day.

FYI - This is no longer a B&B, but a house you can rent for your group. We spent a week at the house with family; about 13 total people. Everyone had plenty of space. The view from the deck is amazing and the accommodations are what you would expect from a house in Montana; rustic decor, adequate kitchen, and plenty of space. Location is about 15 minutes west of Glacier NP's west entrance. The owners live in a home up the hill and check in occasionally. You cannot see the owner's house from the rental home. They were very interested in making sure we enjoyed the property.

It is places like this that make us stay at B&B's. Mark & Mary are fantastic hosts and their place is amazing. The view from the back deck overlooking the Flathead River is a great way to start your day. The very tasty and healthy breakfasts got us ready for a day of hiking in GNP.||They will let you do laundry which was very helpful to us.
