Me and my husband are impressed by this place. We went from Chicago to Door county almost two months ago, this is our dinner place of the first night. My husband is a chef in a Michelin star restaurant so I told him 10 times please do not have too high expectations it’s not in the city. Then, everything is well done, even the spinach salad! I keep asking my husband to make their salad for me even after we are back. The texture, the portion, the ingredients and the tastes are all well balanced. You guys did better than a lot of popular restaurants in Chicago, Bravo! If you see this review and plan to visit door county, please do not hesitate to go there and try, I am serious!
This has to be one of the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. First thing, the owner of the restaurant was so kind and humble. We even got complimentary cheese curds at the end. He gave our dog a bowl for food and guided us about the local trails and attractions we could try. We couldn’t be more thankful and grateful for going above and beyond given we didn’t know the places around so much. Second, the service was at par than anywhere else. The chef/waitress was so kind even though she was shorthanded and almost end of the day, she listened to our questions and requests. Last but definitely not the least, the ambiance of the restaurant is just a killer and food is so delicious. I can’t wait to try this place again when I visit the area again. Kudos to all the hardwork you folks are putting into this place and keep up the great work.
If six stars were possible, I'd give six stars. Absolutely amazing food with flavor combinations that will make your eyes roll back in your head (yes, it's that good); it's clear the chef knows his craft very well. Our favorite dish: the scallops- absolutely to die for. It wasn't only the food, though, it was the whole experience. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting and we never felt rushed or out of place. We will definitely be back again and again and if you're wondering if you should give it a try, YES you should.
Best meal I had while visiting Door County. Excellent service, food was incredible and clearly well thought out! Edited to add we ended up eating here a second time because we loved it so much the first time! If you are in the area you have to visit this place!!
We went to this restaurant our first night in Door County. The place was a very lovely place and very comfortable. It took a while before our waiter came over to us but once he did he was very friendly. The food we ordered were all delicious. Definitely recommend!
My husband and I came to Door County for our anniversary. We stopped here and it was amazing. Great customer service, quiet atmosphere. Cheese Curd Lover pizza is to die for. Do not pass this place up!
What a pleasant surprise in an area we hadn't visited in a couple years. Wonderful service, unique menu for the area. Tasty, fun bites, amazing atmosphere. We tried the deep fried cheese curds and loved the 3 sauces that came with, especially the tomato chutney! The chef's complement one bite of goat cheese, pistachios, red grapes, and red wine reduction will keep us going back all on it's own. We also tried the Fattoush salad and the chicken salad sandwich and soup. So good!
Lovely little restaurant with talented live music and great service! The staff was polite, personable and happy to accommodate special diets in our party. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming and homey. We will definitely return when we visit Door County again. :)

Itâs been a long time Iâve been able to write a review raving about a restaurant, but this place is firing on all cylinders!!! To start, the rooftop view is gorgeous! The minute I found out they had monkey 47 gin I knew I was I. The right place !
My wife and I enjoyed a very filling and delicious meal here. We started off with the lobster hush puppies, which were fantastic. My wife enjoyed her andouille mac & cheese (couldn't finish but made for great leftovers), and I had the pork belly.

So quiet and beautiful. Rooms is older but very very clean. If you are sitting on the patio it's easy to hear the conversations of people on next patio over. So probably don't share state secrets. Would love to stay again.
