GLō Best Western DeSoto Dallas - Hotel in DeSoto - 1215 I-35E, USA

The staff was very welcoming and professional at all times. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of dishes everyday. Some of the pillows were a little lumpy and the bed had a dip where people sat on the edge. The room was warm when we entered, but was quickly resolved once we contacted the front desk.

This was one of the best hotels that I have stayed at to date. I originally booked through booking.com and there was a bit of miscommunication between them and the hotel. Upon speaking with the Manger Ms. Terri after an hour wait to get the issue resolved, I was able to get checked in. Adriona, I hope is the correct way to spell her name, she was so accommodating, inviting and sweet. I appreciate her genuine hospitality. I had a rough day that day and her kindness really lighten the load for me and children.

Hotel just did not meet my standards or expectations. Located in a remote area and my room smell was stale. Breakfast was sub-par with limited options & fruit that was not fresh. In addition there were limited amenities. Considering, I was traveling alone, I didn’t feel completely safe at this hotel & its location.

This place has been recently renovated. Some cheaper improvements were made. The doors are very heavy and slam shut over the night and the walls seem thin. There was a slight smell to our room. The gym and outdoor hot tub were excellent improvements. Parking and breakfast were included. The breakfast had eggs, sausage, and a Texas-shaped waffle maker. I would stay here again regardless. I felt it was a good value.

My first time staying here & I was a little nervous at first but wow the service was 10/10. The front desk lady that was there Thursday night on 4/11 was super sweet & kind!! I wish I could’ve asked for her name. She was very attentive to everything! Will definitely make this my hotel next time

Everything was good, staff breakfast was on point,....the only problem I is when it's time to get my deposit back,which 3 to 5 business days,and now it's going on 8 days and still nothing I called and what a stuff member said the morning stuff member didn't submit so the funds could go back to my card,now it's gonna be 10 days before I get my money, which will be a total of 18 days.....

The rooms are very small especially for a small family, not much room to move around, the bed coverings are very thin. The staff are rude, i also put the privacy do not disturb tag outside the door and room service still came constantly knocking on the door late at night. We also ended up going to the pool just for the people at the front office to bother us frequently asking questions

While the hotel management seemed to be on top of things, the same could not be said for the rooms themselves. Specifically, the cleanliness left much to be desired (dirty fridge) and the beds were far from inviting. The bathroom was also a letdown with caulking that looked like it had been applied by an amateur. To make matters worse, the paint on the ceiling didn't match and there were noticeable patches around the light switches that lacked texture and appeared smooth compared to the existing texture.
