Had a fantastic experience at Girl and the Goat last night! The food was absolutely incredible – every dish was a burst of flavor and creativity. Our waiter was fantastic too – super knowledgeable about the menu and passionate about the food, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. And let's not forget the drinks – they were the perfect complement to the meal. LOVED IT!!! Girl and the Goat absolutely deserves its Michelin Bib Gourmand award. It's the perfect spot for a girls' night out or a special date night – the atmosphere is lively and fun, the food is top-notch, and the service is impeccable. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience, look no further!
I’ve heard about Girl & the Goat for a long time and I am so mad at myself for not eating here sooner! The food? AMAZING. The service? Impeccable, we had to wait for one dish (we didn’t even realize how much time passed because it was just a great experience and they brought us free dessert!). The drinks? Let’s just say we had every drink and second rounds of course. The only drink we weren’t a big fan of was “kind of a big dill” and the one that surprised us the most was how good the “bring the beet back” was! If you’re looking for one thing to try it has to be the green beans! Strange thing to recommend, they’re just green beans right? WRONG, they’re the best thing I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for one of the best restaurants in Chicago, this is it
Girl & The Goat in Chicago is a culinary delight that I can't stop raving about! From start to finish, our dining experience was exceptional. The restaurant's atmosphere is vibrant and trendy, with a rustic yet modern design that sets the stage for a memorable evening. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. Our server's recommendations were spot-on, helping us navigate the diverse options. The standout feature here is the innovative menu. The small plates format allows you to explore a variety of flavors. We started with the wood oven-roasted pig face, which was a revelation - crispy, succulent, and bursting with unique flavors. The goat empanadas were another highlight, perfectly balanced in taste and texture. The wine list is extensive, with an impressive array of choices to complement the dishes. The cocktails were equally inventive and refreshing. The dessert selection is equally impressive; the chocolate chip bread pudding is a must-try for any sweet tooth. Girl & The Goat is more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary adventure. With its creative menu, friendly staff, and a buzzing atmosphere, it's a top-tier dining experience in Chicago. Don't miss the opportunity to savor the creativity and passion of this gem. We'll be back for sure!
Way under hyped , just fantastic! I wish I could just sit closer to the kitchen Between the three dishes we tried it was tie where I liked the fish best and wife the pig face! Goat itself was good but ... The other two oh my Loved the overall experience
I came here awhile back when they used to have the goat leg that would feed a group of people. I don’t think they have that anymore since I haven’t seen it in any recent pictures or on the menu. So, aside from that goat leg, many of the other dishes were tiny portions. If you’re sharing with a group of 4, it’s almost like one bite each. We tried roasted pig face and confit goat belly. Overpriced for sure even though the dishes we had were scrumptious. The restaurant itself is dark and they had a good amount of seating. Service was great. I would recommend coming here if you’re in a group of 4 or more, that way you can try different dishes and split the expensive bill. I’ll include a picture of the goat leg which is now ancient.
Must eat! Incredible atmosphere, friendly service and most importantly, impeccable food not elsewhere found. The selections are uncommon and the tapas style is ideal to try multiple dishes. If your tastebuds are tired of the basic dishes seen at all restaurants, this is the place for you!
We were a group of eight🤓 we ordered family style of everything in the menu. What we all liked about the dishes was that the chef was very bold in spices choice. Every single dish (no exception) was very flavorful and dense with spices. I will certainly bring my adult children and come back here. I’m from California. I heard that this restaurant has a location in Los Angeles. If so, I’m certainly going there soon with my family. It’s worth every penny, dollar, and hundreds of dollars♥️🥰 the kitchen was buzzing. The waiter knew her dishes and ingredients. We got a free dish. It was such an amazing experience. Everyone loved EVERYTHING. Coming back for sure😎
Came here for restaurant week, our table was split vegetarian/non-vegetarian. I was worried I'd have to just munch on some broccoli or something since most of the fixed menu had meat, but our server was incredibly accommodating and allowed half the table to be on the vegetarian RW menu and the other half on the normal menu. The food was delicious and each bite had something new! I especially liked the celery root salad (non-veggie version: hamachi poke) and everything was so good only two of the six courses survived long enough for me to take a photo.
LOVED The Franklin Room! If youâre a whiskey lover, this is the place for you!! The steak and sides we ordered were MAGNIFICENT! Our waitress, Gene, was very attentive and respectful. 10/10, would dine again! (And again!)
We were fortunate enough to have our wedding at Elske Oct 2023. The day could not have been better because of everything the staff did for us. Renee, the restaurant manager, was excellent - so kind, accommodating, and professional! The service, food,
Amazing restaurant! The food and drinks were delicious and the ambience of the place cool and cozy! The dim lighting and friendly staff elevated the space and made my visit a great experience. I went on a Tuesday night at 7pm and had to wait 40 minu

In Chicago and stopped by this place. Grand opening for them. Wonderful people with a great spirit overall. Had a chance to dive into the whole thing of coffee coming from Ethiopia after meeting their African-American roaster of coffee. Lovely time -
I'm writing this review after taking a full year of classes at Vibez. Initially, I bought class packs and then signed up for the monthly membership (8 classes a month) once I knew it was a good fit. Over the course of 2023, I lost more than 20 pounds
