This is one of the best Japanese restaurants we've been to (even counting Japan). The sushi is great and they have many super authentic Japanese dishes you won't find elsewhere. The pumpkin fried rice is absolutely incredible! You have to try it! Will come back here as often as I can. Can't recommend Ginza enough.

We had several dishes. The two oysters menu were really good. We also tried the mountain vegetable soup. it's filling as it has rice. Taste mild and quite authentic. All of the little dishes that we ordered were good. Will be back for sure. 11/25:Came back to try other dishes. I think the highlights were amaebi fry which was fried sweet shrimp and fried rice ball in soup. The later one was so good. basically rice cracker in a tasty dashi broth. We also had negi toro rolls, baked oyster and clams. All were good. The tofu with yuzu sauce was not what we expected. It's more sweet than citrusy. I also dont recommend broiled eggplant. It's tasteless, not hot and more like boiled than broiled. with lots of bonito flakes on top. The rice cracker soup is still the best:) 1/26/24:; We tried the pumpkin fried rice sine ce we often see ppl order it. It taste a bit bland for me. Doesn't have that flame flavor. the oyster butter with baked tomato and yuzu sauce is so amazing!

This is our favorite restaurant in Seattle. Been here maybe 30 times and get the same thing! Authentic Japanese food! Excellent and kind staff.

Very attractive menu and need improvement on the dishes. Not a bad choice in this area considering the price. It’s has tons of authentic japanese foods on the menu. Seems this time I didn’t order it correctly. The sushi was fine. The cold soba was amazing. But all the skews and dishes over hot stone was much lower than expectation. The skews feels like fries instead of grilled on charcoal. Will still come next time. Hopefully find the tasty ones from their interesting menu.

Been here many many times! It’s a bellevue go-to! Their dinner specials always have a good variety to try. Also tried their pumpkin fried rice for the first time and definitely hit the spot. Parking is a little tricky sometimes (they have a small lot) but sometimes I just park at DT bellevue park and get a nice walk!

Excellent quality!!! We had the chef's choice sushi platter. The fish was fresh, uni was fresh and delicious. We also ordered the grilled cuttlefish and tempura. My husband loves the simple tuna roll that came with his combo. Second time we ordered a clam and tofu hot pot aka soup, deep fried pork liver and baked oysters. The oysters were good, no fishiness. The soup was very light and tasty, I wished there were more than 3 clams - they were fresh.

Wonderful Japanese food, and lots of people know it :) fairly large menu with authentic dishes you don't see elsewhere. Expect a wait. Expect to exclaim and extol the deliciousness of you meal. Don't miss the pork belly with scallions. Good for date night, and catching up with a friend. Good for groups.

The sushi is so good!! The rolls with crab meat are so comforting and satisfying. Age tofu is on average level. Will definitely go back again for sushi and rolls. One suggestion for the restaurant is that the specials on the blackboard are too hard/small to read.
