Had no idea that this place was open 24 hours! Was cozy inside and out, and the food was fantastic. Our wait time to receive our meals was practically nonexistent. My boyfriend enjoyed the Philly Cheesesteak and mashed potatoes, and I had the Chicken Strips with American Fries and regular French Fries. Our server, Macy, was the absolute sweetest person and made sure that everything was to our liking. I don't think we could have possibly asked for a better waitress. Our very late night dinner was perfect.

Can I give six stars to this restaurant? This will be my go to eatery now with family and friends. Everything tasted like food from the childhood. And I was not even born in the United States. Plenty of parking. I do recommend you make a reservation or place yourself on the waiting list. But you will not regret it. The food is delicious. My recommendation is to try pot roast and vegetable soup, but I’m planning to come back and try many more dishes. Kids menu is also available and overall great service and great value.

I originally made a review 2 years ago because I couldn't help myself! I came back today with my dad, and only good things to say. Food: The food was absolutely phenomenal! I got the Turkey Platter! Super delicious, everything cooked to perfection, and well seasoned. My dad got the pot roast, no fat at all, super juicy and delicious. As part of our dinner, we also got a basket of corn bread muffins, and it was the best tasting, corn bread I've ever had in my life. Best part was they were super moist and not dry Service: Service is absolutely perfect, never an interruption, always polite and ready to help. Something that I struggle to see nowadays. Prices are good, food is fabulous, and service is perfect. Please come here, you will not regret it.

We had the best service Sunday night! Danielle was our waitress and she was wonderful. Our food came out quickly and was delicious. We ordered breakfast. Great comfort food. We also got 2 desserts to go. E carrot cake was amazing and the sweet potatoe pecan pie was delicious

Great family 24 hr restaurant with a huge diverse menu. The place is busy, even late night but they seat you quickly and provide excellent service from menu to bill. Prices are fair as are portions.and the wait staff is courteous and professional.

Update: Still amazing. Came in for an early morning breakfast and everything was fantastic! We LOVE this place and come here often with our kids. The servers are always friendly, attentive and 100% on top of keeping your drinks refilled. The food is excellent(definitely try the pot roast!!!) with good portion sizes for the price. It's also open 24 hours which is an added bonus. There's often a wait-list during the late night hours(college town) and the Sunday lunch rush, but it's well worth the wait.

While visiting Saint Charles for the first time, I stopped by for dinner at Gingham’s after reading all of the great reviews. We decided to sit at one of the counters and were able to sit down right away. I had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and chose to upgrade my second side to the soup of the day, which was Chicken and Dumplings. The soup was creamy and flavorful and definitely filling. The fried chicken was cooked to perfection and had just the right outside crispness to inside juiciness ratio. The mashed potatoes were light and fluffy and the brown gravy was terrific. My husband got the open faced turkey platter and enjoyed it. I’m from California, but I love sweet tea and Gingham’s was delicious! You may think it’s hard to mess up sweet tea, but believe me it happens 😂. I really enjoyed theirs. Not too sweet and definitely not bitter. For dessert, I tried a slice of their chocolate cream pie and it was amazing!! It was a busy night at the restaurant, but the staff was friendly, responsive and brought us our food and drinks very quickly. This is a great spot for hearty comfort food. Now I just need to come back to try some of the delicious looking breakfast items!

Was recommended Ginghams from someone at the front desk at the hotel. A unique mix of diner and country styling. I got the buffalo chicken melt which was recommended by my server. It was great! The bread was crispy, but not overly dry and the chicken was moist and covered in melted cheese. I got a slice of coconut cream pie to-go. Not the best, but creamy and still hit the spot. I thought the pies were made there, but my server said they buy them in from somewhere. Either way, it's a solid choice if you're looking for casual American, and I bet their breakfasts are great. They are open 24 hours too, and seems way safer than a Waffle House if you have some late night cravings.
