Gibson Arena - Roller skating rink in Muncie - 2610 S Mock Ave, USA

Pro skater. I'll never attempt to go there again ! Lost my business for good. Western Skateland in Bloomington is decent but they have circle benches in middle of arena. Skateland in Columbus, IN has very nice crowd. Welcoming. Excellent surface. My home rink is Anderson Roll Arena. I got lucky with having the best floor near me. Other awesome rinks that I haven't listed because I haven't personally tried them out yet. I will soon attend Skateland on West Indy to see what it's like. High hopes. Pick a good place to Skate. I will personally NEVER attend an event or Skate session at Gibsons in Muncie.

We had a great time with the kids until an older kid plowed my mom down. She broke her arm and the staff kind brushed it off. Didn't even really correct the girls actions either. Overall decent time. Edit: this was a 4 star review as I wasn't holding the actions of someone else interfere with my review. After they spoke with my mom yesterday and had issue with my 4 star review while she should be focused on healing her broken arm, I would like to lower my initial review. 4/5 stars wasn't a bad review

🗽This place is historic🏛 in my 👀eyes!👀 It's still a wonderful place to go for a 🎪fun time! I attended school🎒 skating parties when I was in elementary👩‍🏫🏢 and now 👩👦🏼both of my kids also get that same exact😍 experience. I haven't been on skates💫💥 in several years🚑🏥🏪 but I used to be 👸pretty good so... tonight, my son👱🏼‍♂️ asked if 👸I'd skate with him👩‍👦 since he's still learning how to skate...🙆‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️ so I sure did!🤡🤪 We had a blast! 👨🏼Dad even got out there🏃🏼‍♂️ and refreshed his skating skills also! 👍Awesome place to 👩‍🎨🧔🏼👱🏼‍♂️👸🏽create 💏💑👨‍👩‍👧‍👦👫family memories!👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🤟👐💟 🎶🎤Fun music.. smooth, clean floors... 🥨🍿Food..🕺💃dancing... 🕺🏼💃🕺🏿💃🏾🕺💃🏼dance/🎉🎈party/🥋karate room with crazy💡🔦 lighting🔮 and a cool dance 💃🏾🕺💃floor area... ⛳ Putt🏒 putt 🏒golf⛳... 🏁skating 🔄🔃🔂races🏁... Just came back from a birthday party at Gibson, this place is great. We had an awesome time and all of the staff were super helpful and friendly. The place is very nice, really cool skating floor, really big skating floor, really cool atmosphere. Definitely will go back, you guys rule. My wife was really happy, you should see her bangs 🤙🤙👌👌👍👍

I tried to be loyal, but this place is run down, and the floor is an absolute nightmare. It is rough, bumpy, and pulls your feet every which way. (you can see the texture in the picture below. Whoever thought that was a good idea was sorely mistaken. We won't be back. We will go to Anderson Skating Arena from now on.

gibsons is very rasict , im 11 years old & a black female.. me and my friend were being hit by a 12-13 year old male. & when we stood up for ourselves we’ve gotten in trouble.. it was seen on video where the boy shoved us for skating near him.. and we told an officer and he said he would look into it but never did until he say us handle it on our own!!

We visited Gibson for the first time this evening and had the best time! The owners and all of the staff were so inviting and kind, introduced themselves and took the time to get to know our large group of skaters. Thank you guys for a great skate experience ❤️🛼☺️ We will absolutely be back!

Wonderful family atmosphere! Very nice people own and operate the skating rink. They spent a lot of time working on updating the facility and ensure everything is safe for all of those who enter. They want to make sure everyone has the best experience while visiting. The owners and their family go out of their way to make sure all employees feel like a part of the family! It’s a wonderful place to work.
