Selections seem to be adequate. I was just going for a quick run to get a few small things, the self check out was extremely slow, would not let you check out if you did not have a membership card which is really annoying and frustrating.
Went in to buy one item. Self check lines only permit you to use them in you have a Giant Eagle loyalty card....therefore I could not use the self checkout, and I was not willing to stand in line for a teller for one item. Went to Aldi's instead....self checked my single item no problem....and saved a couple of bucks by NOT shopping at Giant Eagle.
Go somewhere else. Always have to spend about 50% more here than any other grocerier. Sales on shelves don’t reflect current sales so what might seem like a good deal never is at the checkout. Just go to Walmart save your money
This store is really nice and clean. Great selection and their prices seem cheaper than Strongsville store. The check out process needs to be a little better. Only 2 open lanes available and they only have 4 self check outs.
Horrible experience with cashier (sandy w)on customer service desk.it was long lines at registers so went to service desk since I have 4 items 2 same egg cartons and 2 same dressings.so cashiers was talking to other one behind desk first she totally ignored me but I stood there and she came to check out with very bad attitude,I still said thank you for taking me,no reply and I said thank you when m done still no reply .i asked her why are you being so rude she replied coz you could go to other register to check out this is not for check out.i was like really for 2 iteams you are doing this behavior she was like 4 not 2.i am surprised with customer service.no one was there they were talking so I interrupted her so she got mad for checking me out for 4 items .not going there next time .i know they don’t care but May be she needs to May be stock the shelves not behind the desk coz of her attitude.her name is sandy w .so don’t go to check out when she is there.God forbid if you interrupt her .
I do like coming here occasionally. It's a smaller store so it doesn't have everything I would be looking for at a grocery store. I will say though the employees are very pleasant to see, and kind to help out. It's just the smelly smell that smells smelly. I am not sure if it's because it's a smaller store and it just has the lack of air quality or if it's just the stores cleanliness. I think I have walked in here only one time where it didn't smell smelly and it was fine but when you smell the smell that smells smelly, you'll know what I am talking about. They also got their parking lot refinished... Yay no pot holes!
I have been coming to this Giant Eagle for several years and I highly recommend this grocery store! This location is always clean and the customer service is excellent.
Self check out is down and they only have 2 cashiers.. to top it off their outdated register goes down making it even slower this is why Marc's is better

Such an adorable place to spend the day. Taking the kids to the park, plaza, walk around the main square is lovely and historical. There are public restrooms and friendly environment.
