Please pay attention to the Deli section. I got home and noticed the turkey I bought was almost 2 weeks old. Don't need to be sick for the holiday!! Giant Eagle YOU KNOW BETTER!!
The place is kept clean and well stocked. The selection is great and I’ve never had a problem finding what I need. Though I typically only get standard groceries, Giant Eagle has a lot to offer in terms of specialty sections (deli, bakery, flowers, pharmacy).
A little before 5pm, I went to the seafood department for a specific item. None in the case, stood at the counter, waited for someone. Another shopper also waited. We both waited at least 15 minutes without seeing any employees(anywhere). Decided to finish my other shopping, went back. There was someone at the meat counter. Asked him and was told, I don't work in that department, so I don't know, and there hasn't been anyone at the seafood counter since 3 pm. Par for the course at this Giant Eagle.
Favorite grocery store. They carry boca burgers and Walden farms which are my favorite brands so that's great. Plus they have killer weekly savings and coupons. Moving here from az, I lost my favorite grocery stores but giant eagle. Quickly replaced them all!
Giant Eagle is a great place to do our weekly grocery shopping. The store is bright and clean and always fully stocked. The prices are a good value and you can usually find all of what your looking for. The best value often is there Market District store brand of products. I like that they still have the option of using live checkout clerks at the registers too. Best selection of nutritional supplements in a grocery store as well. Also my wife and daughter enjoy the bath and beauty selection.
Went in at 4pm on a busy Tuesday. Seemed most items were stocked and ready for sale. Even had enough cashiers up front. Nicely done Giant Eagle
My mom ordered my birthday cake and it was to be white buttercream frosting on almost cake with spring flowers. I didn't know what she had ordered when I picked up the cake for her to take to the party so I just assumed what I got was what I was supposed to get. When I got to my mom's house I thought she was going to have a heart attack. The cake was disturbingly ugly and not at all what was ordered. There was so much cocoa in the frosting it was so overwhelming...it actually made the frosting hard to the point it was almost cracking.
My mom did call Giant eagle and in their defense they did say that they would refund the money for the cake and that they were sorry. So they did apologize not to say that my birthday was ruined by a bad cake I'm 48 years old...it just definitely was not the highlight party for sure.
We have ordered cakes from Giant eagle before and haven't had a problem. So, because of that, we'll give them another shot...maybe somebody was just having a bad day and that's okay too.
Way over priced food items. Very woke liberal company. They worry about their woke score then their employees and customers. I only shop there when I can get my items from some were else.

Love this park! Dog friendly. Paved paths. Lots of benches. Some unpaved paths with crushed gravel are still very smooth. There is a pond for fishing. Soccer fields. Playgrounds. The signage for the park entrance is difficult to see.
