A wonderful place in a beautiful, scenic State Park. We enjoyed the family style fried chicken dinner on Thanksgiving. Excellent server, delicious food and I had the cherry crumble for dessert. Perfect if you didn't want to cook for 2. The atmosphere was cozy and they had decorated for Christmas which was colorful.
My mom and I love going here. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. We always get the all you can eat family style chicken dinner and it is always delicious. The waitstaff are always so nice and helpful. Overall, great place to eat.
Went to the lodge for dinner. Food is outstanding with excellent service! The family style dinners are food value for families or large groups; it's a ton of food with all the various sides. Fried chicken is very old school and delicious. Would eat here again in a heartbeat.
The restaurant was amazing. Atmosphere, service, and food were all exceptional. I loved that it was tucked away in the middle of the woods. There's also a little souvenir shop which was very cute. The whole place just had the best rustic vibe.
The waitress was slow. The restaurant wasn't busy and it took 30 mins to get our drinks for a party of 12. We ordered fried green tomatoes, they were greasy and almost burnt. The prime rub was perfect!!! I was there with my family for my birthday dinner.
This was a joy to stay at. The lodge was beautiful and historic - I could have just sat in there for hours looking at all the craftwork. We stayed in a historic cabin. I gave the room 4 stars because the beds were uncomfortable (too soft) and our TV didn't work but they were clean and convenient. The price was good too. The food at the lodge was wonderful. The staff was informative, attentive and helpful. A BIG thank you to all the staff at the lodge!
Literally only had fried chicken. 2 adults. A 4 and 5 year old. Cost $70!! Never told us a price until after. My fault but never again.
Let's start by saying the portions at this restaurant were so generous that we never made it to dessert. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate us in our meal choices, which in a large group can get complicated. Add to this the location, a historic lodge built of enormous timbers & locally quarries stone. It was wonderful!

Awesome experience! The staff is amazing. I am afraid of heights, but the guides made me feel safe and secure so I enjoyed the whole trip! Brock and Kate were so informative and fun!! We will definitely be back! And we are bringing our kids this time
