Did a spa day there plus dinner after with my husband. Walk into the spa and I understand you guys are trying to be gender-neutral. But when I have something at the front desk with cheek implants and duck lips, try to tell me what women wants for a massage when they've never had children, Or back problems that come with having children I instantly declined their advice and asked for someone with actual experience. I instantly got dirty looks ands was treated poorly. Got through my massage, which was kind of painful, even though I told the masseuse, they were going too heavy, And decided to still try to make a good day of it and have dinner after with my husband. We go to the crush house and while waiting 45 minutes for a table, I had to use the restroom, which again just says restroom. There's no gender. Again, if that's your thing that's fine, but when I walk into a restroom after a man and there's pee all over the toilet seat with no staff insight to clean up anything. That's a problem. If you want to be gender-neutral, I get it, but at least clean up your restrooms to where it can be gender-neutral. We'll probably never go back.

Our wedding there was perfect! We had a small intimate wedding in the conservatory. I loved the whole atmosphere! Our reception was in the Bistro. Service was excellent! And we stayed in the Villa. We rented all four rooms for us and our out-of-town guests. Shoutout to Maggie and Brad for their excellent help making our special day everything we wanted and more!

I recently visited Gervasi - and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, Alexis was incredibly welcoming and friendly. She made me feel right at home and, set a great tone for my visit. Her warm demeanor and willingness to help, really stood out. It’s the little things like this that make a place truly special - I highly recommend!!

This was my first wine tasting and Lorrie was amazing. She was enthusiastic and taught us a lot about the wine we were drinking. I would definitely return, and recommend “The Cave” for anybody looking for an incredible wine tasting experience..

We had our wedding at Gervasi two days ago, and stayed in the Villas. It was such an incredible experience! Maggie was our event coordinator and she was amazing, and had everything set up and running smoothly without me even being there for the set up. The Villas are beyond gorgeous with water front views and pristine rooms. We will absolutely be back! Thank you so so much!!!

Went on a Saturday for a birthday dinner and sat outside on the Piazza. We were greeted by the manager, and Sabrina was our server. They were so helpful and kind! We started with an orange mozzarella salad and the whipped feta, plus 2 cocktails, all of which were delicious. However the music situation kind of ruined our experience. I do not mean to be rude, but we were shocked by the singers voice to the point we thought she was joking. And their song choice just did not match the vibe of this place. It was so loud, I felt like we were at a show, and not just getting live background music. With that being said, we got our lobster rolls to go so that we could walk around and actually hear each other talk. When we got home to eat, we were super disappointed to see how little lobster was on the $28 sandwiches. It was an overwhelming amount of brussel slaw and bread. My sandwich had only 2 claws of meat on it and another chunk the size of maybe a quarter. My partner's had a bit more but not enough to justify spending over $60 (including tip) on them. We really love coming here and our other experiences have been great, but this last one was super disappointing especially for driving over an hour to get there. Hopefully this was a one-off and when we come back the next time, we have better things to say.

We had our wedding at Gervasi and everything was so perfect it still feels like a dream. All the staff throughout the grounds were on their a-game to make sure our day went off without a hitch. Rooms ready right on time, breakfasts showing up right away, to all the servers and bartenders at the wedding itself. We received many comments about how enjoyable everyone working night of was. They all took care of my friends and family the way I would which was so important to our big day. Then there was Kelsey Taylor. I feel bad even trying to write a summary of all she did for us because of all I’m sure to accidentally omit. But from the very beginning she was stellar to work with. She introduced herself at the tasting and we hit her instantly with an onslaught of questions. How does our timeline look, we want to do an ice cream truck instead of cake where can it park, risotto is on the plated meals but can we get it in the buffet, and so many more. Kelsey was prompt, thorough, accurate, and organized. It made all the jitters of not having a wedding coordinator go away to get her confirmation on things when a random question would come up. Leading up to the wedding I was grateful to have Kelsey, however day of was when I realized and fully appreciated how hard she was working for us and just how lucky we were to have her on our team. I counted 5 times throughout the day I went to her with something that she was already 100% on top of. Every time her answer was “we’re on it” with the sweetest reassuring smile and confidence in her voice. At one point the top heavy arch we had rented from a vendor toppled over and smashed the flowers that had been set up on it. But it wasn’t until after the ceremony when we were moving the arch to the sweetheart table that I realized it even happened. Kelsey got the florist to come back and set up fresh/not smashed flowers, and hid some sandbags around the base to make sure it didn’t topple again. No crisis nor panic was brought up to us at all, just took care of the problem and let us stay in our day together as long as time would allow. THIS is the kind of help I want on such a big day and lord only knows everything else she did to make our day seamless. At first blush, the sticker shock got to me. The venue is the prettiest in northeast Ohio in my opinion and I kind of viewed the price as “cost of admission”. But now having gone through it, I totally understand the premium you’re paying for the EXTRAORDINARY service you receive. The food was fabulous, grounds were gorgeous, and with Kelsey as the face and muscle of our operation, we wouldn’t change a thing. Last thing I want to throw in is a pro tip, and that is use the vendors they recommend. I think we got the list at the tasting, but it wasn’t until walking around day of that I realized our florist, photographer, Kelsey, and set up/tear down person all knew each other pretty well it seemed. I think this might have been that extra secret sauce that made our big day run so perfectly smooth.

Go for the atmosphere, not the food, which is almost entirely mediocre and overpriced. Service is great, the grounds are well maintained and beautiful in the summer. I've been here around 5 times and the food is underwhelming each and every time. It's not bad by any means, but just isn't comparable to food in Columbus or Cleveland (or even Italian food in Youngstown).
