I love Gernon Brown Rec Center. I rent the space for private parties. It's a safe area. If something pop off it was from your guest only. The staff members that I dealt with are phenomenal! They go over and beyond. Shout out to the lady at the front desk, Mr Gerry, Ms Arie, and Mr Tyler. God bless
Great place to gather, eat and enjoy family . Played games....it's unfortunate that you knew and saw the flood line markings on the outside of the building. Could not even imagine the height of the flood waters...praying for all!!!! City is still recovering ❤️🩹
My daughter goes here for her Releve' dance lessons through NOBA- New Orleans Ballet Association. Very nice & spacious room to dance class and performances, in addition to large gym for other activities.

Pickleball program offer lots of play time. Would say the group skill is intermediate level with few beginners and very few advanced. Nice indoor facility.
I love this gym I've gone the last 2 Mondays great runs no BS just good pick up basketball. 4 on 4 last time I went we didn't have enough for 5 either time but hey I will be there every Monday.
Love that they have ceramic classes and rhe piano classes for free. I wish that the piano claases are taught after business hour or Sat. My daughter wpnt be able to attend piano classes when i go back to work if they dont offer classes after work hour
