I have taken my Mercedes Benz cars to Merik for over a decade. He has always been very knowledgeable, very helpful, very caring. His prices are very reasonable. Insanely reasonable compared to any local dealerships. I understand cars very well. I can tell easily a good mechanic from a bad one. He is extremely talented.

I had a squeeling noise from the front of my car which I thought was the serpentine belt which still made the noise after replacing it. Then I was told it was probably the turbo from a shop but thought it was possibly a bolt based on an online video and hoping since there was only 73k miles on my mk6 GTI. The owner took my car for a drive and listen then after looking further determined it was the turbo. Thank you for replacing the turbo with the new part vs the other shop that was quoting a remanufactured part and though the newer part was somewhat more it was OEM and the overall the labor was a little bit cheaper than the first/other quote. When a broken bolt was found, which they visually showed us (my mechanically inclined friend and I), they were able to remove it for a reasonable price so both problems were fixed. Lastly they warned me of sidewall damage in one of my tires (which I knew about) but a mechanic also found that some of my tires were put on inside-out from the now closed Simi Valley Just Tires, but the T.O. Just Tires fixed both problems using the warranty for the bubble tire. I can only imagine the cost at a dealership considering how overpriced a transmission service was from the dealership recently. BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! If you want piece of mind when your car is being worked on, then this is where you take your German car. I needed brakes for my Porsche, and Mirek and his Team didn't mess around trying to push aftermarket or made in China products on my car. They put genuine parts on and even saved the manufacturer boxes/packaging for me. I can't tell you how nice it is to have confidence in you car being serviced without paying huge dealer marked up prices! Don't waste your time going to any car mechanic period! We have been bringing our cars here for almost 20 years! If you want individuals that communicate well, treat you with respect, honesty, and have complete integrity along with a stellar positive attitude then German Tech Auto Repair is the company to go with! Make sure to ask for Mirek, he is nothing short of amazing at being so helpful and even went the extra mile to help make sure every single detail of our car was taken care of. He took care of all my questions and made this the most effortless and best experience I have ever had in any automotive repair I've ever done. Further my Dad went to pick up the car and at my Dad's old age, Mirek was so patient with him explaining to him everything that had happened and even showed him physically where the repair happened, the cause, etc. A+++ service all around!!!

The owner(Mirek) has worked on every car I have owned in the last 25 years. As a matter of fact we have purchased several cars from him. He is always fair and honest. He gives prompt, clean reliable repairs. Most importantly he always tells you the truth, you can bank on his word. I wouldn't take my cars anywhere else.

He sold me a car. I put 1k down on it as good merit as he takes it to get it smogged, registered, and aligned. I then get a message the next day saying he canceled the deal, even though he told me the car was mine. Do not do business with them. I have never had a sale like this ever be taken back after its been made. He even gave me a receipt for it, which I guess was good for nothing. He ended up selling the car to someone else after the deal was made. Didn't know after I bought the car it was gonna be put up to the highest bidder.
