Georgie's Beachside Grill - Seafood restaurant in Newport - 744 SW Elizabeth St, USA

My wife and I enjoyed Christmas dinner at Georgia's. The restaurant had a Christmas menu, prime rib, or ham and a seafood dish, but we weren't that hungry, so we each had a dinner salad and shared the coconut shrimp with pineapple salsa and a cup of clam chowder. The salads were a good size, with very fresh ingredients, including tomatoes, cucumber, sheese, and fresh strawberries. The ranch and thousand island dressing were both very good. The coconut shrimp were very large. There were 4 on the dish, with each shrimp large enough to cut into 4 large pieces. They were delicious. The cup of chowder was hot and oh so creamy. Big chunks of potatoes and clams. The server Jose B was excellent. Attentive with a great personality. The restaurant was very busy, with no empty tables but the service was quick and the food came out quickly too. The view is great, right on the ocean. I don't think anyone would be disappointed if they chose to eat at Georgia's!!

It is hard to find vegan options at the beach but we had a great meal here! The vegetable fettuccine (minus dairy) was very flavorful! The vegan salad had quinoa and walnuts with lots of berries and fruit. The server brought balsamic and oil instead of butter for the excellent sourdough bread as well. We will definitely be back!

Best best best restaurant ever! My family has been going here ever since it opened and we've always loved it! I grew up going and it was such a special memory! 😊 The staff is very friendly and some of them will even remember us each time we come in. Beautiful veiws as well! The only downfall is that they have gotten pricier over the years which you can't blame them with how much prices have gone up. 🙄 But overall would highly recommend!

This place is Delicious!! We were in town for a few days and this was the only spot we went to more than once. Everything we tried was super yummy. Plus you get nice views of the beach. If you're going in the evening, it would be smart to get a reservation.

An Exquisite Evening At Georgie's Newport Oregon! Georgie's is truly that magical experience so rarely found in fine eateries today. Be it the ambiance, the most spectacular vista in America, the wonderful gourmet treasures or one of the finest and most caring staffs in fine dining, Georgie's has it all. To be sure your visit is the most wonderful it can be, a special thanks to the Manager Nicholas Hoover and one of the most personable and caring professional table managers in the food industry, my friend Tami whose service is always impeccable! Thank you all so much for this great evening. This is the Oregon Coast Dining Venue that can't be missed!

Called (a little late) for a reservation for our 24th Anniversary. Was told they could get us into the lounge area for dinner. Showed up a few minutes early and was told there was no room in the lounge but there was an open booth with a beautiful few of the ocean. Had an amazing dinner and service was top notch. Calamari is some of the best I’ve ever had. Steak was delicious and the little lady really enjoyed the prawn fettuccine. Definitely would recommend dining here, make sure to call ahead for a reservation or there could be an hour wait.

This was arguably the best steak we have ever had, easily top 5. The service was very friendly and quick, the food was absolutely delicious and we will be returning. We ordered Diablo bites for an appetizer, 2 steak dinners (one with onions and the other with shrimp), and the marion berry crisp. 20/10 recommend!

Enjoyed a lovely dinner here last night for my wife's 50th birthday! Everything was excellent, but come prepared to drop mucho dinero at this location, folks! THE priciest place in Newport. Three us = over $133.00 before tip! Was it worth it for her birthday? Yes! Will I ever go back? Probably not unless my wife makes me! We've been married for nearly 30 years folks - which means I eagerly await death, at this point.
