Be sure to stop by and grab one of your favorite cigars or some pipe tobacco! Georges has decades of tobacco knowledge. The shop is situated quite nicely in the cent of town and has food and drinks right next door. There's no shortage of cigars and a wide variety!

George and his shop are top notch and as personable as possible. My first time there and he greeted me as if I were a devoted long time customer. The other cigar smokers already there were inviting and friendly!! Do not be timid to come alone as everyone seems to be "friends" there. Oh, and the view of the water from the patio is a bonus. Smoke your next stick there and you won't be disappointed with the atmosphere or selection.

WARNING: Don’t buy from this guy. He is selling fake Cuban cigars. Like other commenters have said, he treats you like he’s giving you the insider treatment when he’s really selling you some unknown cigar with a Cohiba or Partagas wrapper/box on it. Ever wonder why he’s so willing to give you a free cigar? Because it’s fake and he’s selling the rest for far more than they’re actually worth. Very disappointed.

George’s is selling fake Cuban cigars. He acts like he’s giving you the insider treatment, then sells you fake Cuban’s while selling himself as a former Marine. Stay Away!

My wife and I went this morning and George was there. He very friendly and told me about his cigar so I got a couple and the first one I am trying is very good. I will be picking up more before I head home.

Have not did a google review for awhile but feel compelled to, that being said George’s Cigar Shop is a hidden gem inside of a hidden gem of a town. I live 30 minutes north of swansboro and go here all the time by default because my wife loves candy edventures, last weekend I noticed the smell of cigars and when I walked up saw an open sign on a house well it’s a cigar shop. Upon entering I was greeted by George and he immediately made me feel like an old friend I have not seen for 10 years, a very well organized shop with a surprisingly good selection for the size my favorite cigar is a la aroma de Cuba mi amore and he just happened to have a box, he also pointed me towards his family’s cigars 2 barberpoles , a short story, and a toro which I also purchased all except the toro so he gave it to me to try. Now I have smoked thousands of cigars but the George’s cigars are actually really good. Great atmosphere, great selection, great location you are doing yourself a disservice if you do not stop by to check it out.

Awesome shop, super friendly, and has his own line. I really enjoyed his box press cigar.

This shop is located in a very nice town, in a house transformed into a cigar shop, which gives it a nice homey feeling. The owner is friendly and a bit charming. Perhaps too much so. I like tobacco, I enjoy it’s history, it’s flavors, the complex process of what goes into fine cigars. How it is grown. I do not smoke cigars for image, I smoke for the smoke, the relaxation aspect. I see that there is a way to do honest business and dishonest business. So maybe I don’t look like someone who knows fine, well aged, well blended tobacco, perhaps I don’t fit the stereotypical image of someone who does. Though I feel that teacher in third grade telling me, don’t judge a book by its cover so poetic later in life. Because, that may have played into him selling me some inauthentic cheap tobacco cigar…from I’d say Nicaragua, that he was trying to pass off as an expensive authentic Cuban cigar. Which of course, by the price point, appearance, smell, taste and the way it ashes, all pointed to…that’s a no. I even stayed and smoked it, chatted with him, even gave him opportunities to say, ha! This is how I make extra money from those who know no better. Though that never came. He has a nice selection of cigars, though if he presents to you something too good to be true, it is. Lol.
