if you're looking for a 1am diner experience this is the place for you. this is some of the best diner food I've eaten in....well....ever. The diner was very clean and the service was excellent and the price is good. They serve the kind and quality of food that can turn a bad day around.
I was the only person in the restaurant at 5:15 AM. The server was less than attentive. I watched him stand by the till doing nothing when the phone rang. The caller tried three times in a row to reach someone and he refused to answer the phone. This happened one more time about 20 minutes later. I waited about 10 minutes for a cup of coffee and when it was empty I had to ask him for a refill. He never checked on me the whole time in the restaurant. About 6:00 another customer came in and sat at the bar and received almost the same treatment. I waited for another 10 minutes to get my check so I could leave. I won't be back either.
I visited many George Webb restaurants. This one was full, I mean pack. Besides being full, the service was excellent, the waitress was in a very good mood and always with a smile. I got my food within 10 minutes. Way to go.!!! I'll definitely go back.
The location is perfect with a free parking lot. Excellent service. Food made to order. Dine 🍽 in or takeout.
The lady with the dark hair is always extremely nice. The downtown location is actually closer to my job, but I go all the way out of the way because of the service at the Wauwatosa location.
Of you are looking to have some good diner food this is the place to go and be at. George Webb has been around for many years, and I'm thankful that they are still here. Oh, and they are reasonable.

I was neither disappointed nor enthused about this location. It was simply nice. Quiet relaxing place to eat and just enjoy a quick meal. It gives off that old diner vibe with Flo as the waitress and local sheriff eating in the corner. Overall, it was a very decent quaint spot to eat.
