Pristine Lake Superior shoreline. Gorgeous sand beaches, beautiful rock formations and rustic roadside facilities. Make sure this is on your list of places to go while in the U.P.
A fun place to stop and let the kids run. Lots of stairs to wear them out and lots of lake shore to explore. Ther are some smaller turnouts with grills that would be nice to stop for lunch or a sunset. The turnouts where only big enough for a car or pickup. If you have a trailer you wont fit.
Beautiful dunes over looking a beautiful lake. Pure Michigan, definitely a must stop and visit one of many Michigan shore lines.
Right on US41. Very unique with all the pebbles making noise when waves hit.
Great place to relax and enjoy the day. The kids loved looking at the rocks on the beach
Nice pebble beach with expansive views, that had few visitors when we were there.
Nice warm sands and a curious tunnel
Nice little beach access stop on the shores of lake Superior. Very rocky so not recommended for sunbathing but awesome for rock finding, skipping, etc... Brothers from the local monastery were there when we went. Be sure to stop at the nearby jam pot if it's open for some tasty treats.

Cool little beach, great place to view sunset (at least in the summer months, when it sets more to the northwest; can't speak to what it's like in winter months. Probably frozen.). Rocks are smooth but still can be slow to trudge through. We thought
This is a great place and a great location. Easy to get to and on a good corner of the street. Very cool on the inside, they sell ice cream, food, souvenirs, etc. I had a shake. It was a good consistency and I love how they give you wider straws for
Best burger I've had in a long time! Got the Buffalo blue cheese cooked medium. Better beer selection than expected as well. Will 100% be back, and cannot wait.
