Excellent ,gourmet prepared rolls made with quality ingredients! They have a great menu with many options including non rice rolls !

I came with a few friends and they enjoyed their food. The atmosphere is really nice and it would be a great place to have families and friends to go with to. However, my food took long and the service slightly lackluster for not giving more updates. The food was alright, it wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst. It lacked a punch to it and didn't taste up to par as to what I was expecting. It was still overall good just wasn't what I was expecting.

Meiyar was our waitress. She was superb. She took great care of us without being intrusive. She made sure we were seated in a quiet area which was deeply appreciated. The food and and atmosphere were pleasant.

We haven't been here for over 10 years but went on a whim. So glad we did!! There were so many choices on the sushi menu (photos were very helpful) and many we had never seen before. We asked our waiter for suggestions and ordered 3 different rolls. They were all fantastic!! Everything was so fresh and tasty. We will definitely be back. They have a happy hour from 4-530 where you can get half size rolls for half price. Such a great deal especially because they have a huge variety of rolls. Great service and relaxing atmosphere. Definitely deserving of 5 stars!

Tonight we had the “house wife” roll and the “nick & Dawn”. We started with Takoyaki, and dragon fruit margaritas! Sooooo yummy! Several wine selections are currently on sale as well!

I’ve been here multiple times with my fiancé, normally we love it, went in yesterday around 4:10 and the service was very slow. It had been a few months since we last came but the menus got updated and looked like prices went up. Food wasn’t as good this time as the previous times we had been. My fiancé got a mojito and it was missing the sweetness, it was very bland and I got a margarita which wasn’t terrible. The only thing I had that my fiancé didn’t was the Osaka roll, something in it gave me food poisoning less than 3 hours after we ate. Spent over $100 with tip and was very disappointed overall. I’ve never gotten food poisoning from sushi before but this has definitely ruined it for me for a while, not sure if we’ll be back.

We recently celebrated a friends birthday at Genkai and had a most enjoyable experience. Our server was kind and helpful. There are so many sushi and entre options that making a decision can take some time. Though we had a party of 10 (and most of us ordered 2 to 3 rolls each) the food was delivered rather quickly. The fish was fresh and the rolls beautiful. They also have a full bar a decent selection of wines and beers on tap. My wife really enjoyed her Ramen with breaded pork dish. Nice work Genkai staff! We will be back!
