Gators Inn on the Bayou - Motel in Larose - 12436 W Main St, USA

Lovely establishment! Polite, welcoming staff exceeded our expectations. The rooms are extremely clean and the linens fresh and soft. Everything in the room was in working order, which can be hard to come by when travelling. The lounge/bar was packed when we visited and all locals seemed welcoming and fun. The pizza was delicious as well. No complaints whatsoever. Definitely will return if possible.

Rooms were just remodeled. Very nice motel and very clean. Room service cleaned everyday with fresh towels. Had a great time at the Bar. Bar tenders were awesome, food was great, people were welcoming and the band was rocking. Definitely will book there again on our next business trip

Not the fanciest place, but the rooms were recently updated. Parking can be very crowded especially on the back side (#200 side) of the hotel. It has a bar connected to it that can get kind of loud sometimes. Update: The room I just stayed in was pretty nice. It was on the 200 side. New furniture and carpet. Usb ports were available. It smelled fresh.

I understand the rooms are in transition and undergoing remodeling. I was in a relatively new/clean room with older furniture (not a big deal). Missing from my room was a means to hang clothes ... not a single coat hanger or bar/hook in the room, which may be explained by the fact that the "new" furniture was yet to arrive. My single complaint and why its 4 and not 5 stars was the decision by ownership/management to place a large industrial toilet paper roll system so far back on the wall that trying to pull off some paper to clean up should come with a few coupons to a local 24 hour chiropractor. This decision should probably result in a loss of 3 stars, but I'm going to be kind. I absolutely hate the decision to ruin the remodel with a difficult to use and improperly placed gas station style mega dispenser. Whatever pennies your saving isn't worth it. Staff was attentive and the assistant manager who checked me in was friendly and able to work the bar and the front desk and made me feel like a local. Good job.

The room was clean. And the staff was super friendly. The bar is open until 2 am. 1 pool table and the locals are a good time as well. Trust me you will be entertained. My only complaint about the whole stay is that the room only had 1 lamp. So it was dim in the room. Other than that 5 star all the way, older place but staff keeps it up.

Very clean, large room with a comfortable bed. Was quiet all night. The lady who checked me in was friendly with no weird vibes. There's a little bar connected to the place and a diner/convenience store a couple blocks away. I'd recommend the place to any budget traveler. The quality is higher than the average Motel 6.

The none smoking room had been smoked in by the guest that left before we got there. Staff apologized and accepted full responsibility. Moved us to another room with no issue. Then kept apologizing and gave me a free hunts brothers pizza. I will be back, problems happen, accepting responsibility making things right is what successful businesses do...... I was already happy with the response.... And then they gave me a pizza.

Great environment and bartenders and staff are a delight to be around and served by! Very homely place to enjoy a cold one or push buttons at a machine!
