Gator Country LA Alligator Park - Park in Natchitoches - 380 Old Bayou Pierre Rd, USA

This was a fun stop on a family vacation. My kids (7 and 9) really enjoyed it. We were there during the winter, so gators were not active. They were still around, just not doing anything and not feeding. Lots of other animals to interact with and see. It wasn’t very busy, so the stop was pretty stress free and interesting. Staff were very helpful and informative. Some of the information posters and the cage glass were hard to see through as there was a lot of hard water build up. Bathrooms were a little run down.

This was our first time there and absolutely loved it!! The staff are awesome and the alligator feeding was my favorite because I learned so much about alligators. Then I learned more about snakes, lizards, emu's etc. They have a little of everything there. Being able to hold a alligator, iguana, and a snake was awesome! This place was a great find for us and you should not miss it if you are in the area!

This place was so cool! Spent a few hours looking at and learning about the gators and other animals they have here. It’s very clean and well kept - you can tell the animals are very well cared for. Employees were polite, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about answering questions. Super fun, don’t skip out on this one when you’re in the area!

Love this place!! I was here 5 years ago when it was under the original owner. Unfortunately he passed away however you can tell the new owners really love this place. They have made some new additions that are really cool. This is a must go to place for anyone curious about alligators. You can learn a ton here! They always have other animals here you can see as well. Be sure to purchase some feed to really immerse into the whole experience. I am definitely coming back when I visit Louisiana!

We’ve been to Gator Country twice and both times have been amazing. So much to do and see. My favorite part about this park is how toddler-friendly it is! I let my almost 2 year old run around the whole park without a stroller! It’s safe and well -maintained. Staff is amazing and very friendly! Must visit!

My family and I had the best time at Gator Country LA Alligator Park! All of the employees we’re so nice and excited to show us all of the animals! Sam was so knowledgeable and took great care in handling the animals! My favorite part was the swamp tour! Leo was so kind and made us feel so safe! He even offered to take a family photo for us! The tours are private so that you get the best experience possible. This was way better than having to go with a large group of people that we didn’t know! We went on a Wednesday and there was plenty to do for a few hours without having to wait in any long lines! If you are nearby, then I definitely recommending stopping in to this cool attraction!

We had the best time. The staff were super friendly and willing to show animals and answer any questions. They pulled out snakes for the kids to hold and alligators for the wading area. We were there for the alligator feeding which was informative. We purchased food for the animals so the kids could feed them. The animals were super interested and the kids had a blast.

Had a blast! Plenty of fun activities for a small park. A storm blew in so we couldn't go on the boat tour. Lots of animals to pet and feed. The gator feeding was FUN!
