Fair was somewhat organized from parking ($10 auto) to entry. Our check in security was not all that through, didn't seem to care. Some people were wearing mask, they had a few hand sanitizer stations throughout the park. Everything was so expensive including the food🤑
I came by the Fairgrounds at the south side extra early for the Orange County Fair, especially to see the 4H Club preliminary show. I was impressed at the attention given by the trainers, as it was like the best in show! I was almost run over by a calf, while it was being walked over to a holding pen. While backing up, I almost bumped into a pig! I felt a bit out of place, though had enjoyed the experience of being with farm animals of which I’d normally never see in the city. They were calm and peaceful, with nothing to worry about! Although it’s been a while since I had been in school, my visit to the fairgrounds turned out to be an interesting learning experience! The layout for the Fair is quite large, and also includes rides, music and entertainment shows. The grounds at this end seems to be on mostly parking lot pavement, tho the south entrance also has livestock exhibits with dirt and hay walkways shared with animals. Here I had to watch my step!
It may be cheap to get in but you paid for it once you get inside. The event is very well kept in clean. Overall we had a good time, and that's what it's all about.
Love the OC fair: farm animals, exhibits, food and rides. Plus nearby ocean breeze.
Right by fun zone where we parked. Had the best time! Great food!
Came in at 1130am and left at 10pm. Very long day but fun. Got to watch the car demolition of all women drivers. It was my first time and enjoyed it.
This is 2021, the fair was nice not overcrowded went from 1 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The ride's got a little expensive when you're doing two kids. Food was good beer selection was good had lots of cleaning personnel. It would definitely suggest going on the days where the rides are a little cheaper.
The O.C. fair was nice. Lots to see, but be ready for those insane fair prices for things. A small 16oz beer was $14. I'd pregame a bit if you can. Don't be fooled by the draft beer, there is a place with tall cans in the middle for the same prices. Food was ok, and that just depends on vendor. We got a bacon wrapped hot dog that has been out there a bit too long....I think they should make tonorder and not make a lot and give you overcooked food. There was an ice cream spot that gave us some redemption. Fabe's ice cream and shakes were off the hook. Prices are ok for what you get and you get to keep mugs for shakes. Ticket prices and games are too expensive in my opinion. Those stuff animals cost them probably less than $1.00 and they charge about $6 just to play the games. Not worth it and a money trap, but it is the "fair experience." Still cool, and be sure to save for the fair!

I love the smiles and open arms of hello when you enter. Jessica and Veronica are always a joy to greet. My fav. Instructors are Jessica H, Jenna, and Noel C. Modifications are a must do to my knees and wrist. All three are so helpful with that and b
