This is one of the best little rock shops around! Always friendly service, plenty of awesome and interesting rocks and minerals. I will always go here for as long as they are opened. Also, some cards dont like to work when checking out, so to make it easier on the staff, maybe just bring a little cash just in case a local card doesn't work :)
I would recommend this place if you already know what you’re looking for. Fun for a quick stop otherwise
Gary's Rock Shop is an awesome place to get all your rock supplies, such a wide selections of stones to choose from. I purchased a beautifully handcrafted piece of jewelry from the shop. It is dainty and elegant. A well designed piece of art. The staff is friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable.
Not open during normal business hours on a Friday because they are short staffed. Guess I should have called first before driving across the state.
The selection varies from affordable smaller items to large extravagant pieces.
This is a one-of-a kind place to visit and shop. Stacie is phenomenal when it comes to creating jewelry. She has designed several unique pieces for me, and they were all well made and went beyond expectations.
I was looking for some specific things when I visited. Not only did I find what I was looking for, I found SO much more! A nice selection of everything, courteous assistance and a nice atmosphere. I highly recommend visiting!
I love the atmosphere when I walk into this shop. I enjoy browsing through the assorted variety of rocks and geological samples. The sales lady was very friendly and knowledgeable. I felt welcomed to spend as much time as I wanted just enjoying looking around at all the pretty stones. Unique, one of a kind pieces make it a wonderful place to find a gift for the hard to shop for person. Jewelry, carvings, beads, information, loose stones in a wide variety. I would say I love this shop, however some items I do feel are over priced. All in all, a great shopping experience.
Great out of the way place ! The scenery is fantastic. Great service. I had the rib eye sandwich and potato salad, for 11 bucks. The potato salad was fabulous along with the ribeye. I highly recommend seeking out this place. Can't forget to men
They had a pump & tools for bikes outside. Beautiful seating area outside, garden area, a place to get something to eat inside. Lots of good stuff inside. Prices on somethings are not too bad. Handicap parking & entrance.
My wife and I stopped here for lunch while we were on a motorcycle ride on 11-6. Cool looking place inside, and the food was excellent! I got the sampler platter, you can choose up to 3 different ones, and my wife got the mushroom and swiss burger.
