went to the countryfest. Had a great time with the daughter and family. Bought a lovely quilt.
Big funky blues concert was the best. The vendors were unique and interesting, if not a little expensive. The bbq chicken was the BEST I've ever had! So juicy and delicious! Kudos to them! The beans and coleslaw were TOPS! Loved the glass blower and the axe thrower venue. Bring a hat as there is no shade in daytime to listen to the blues! The gatekeepers were also awesome.

Just saw a tribute band Chicago rewired. Great show. Horns and all. They were great. Well worth the fair admission at Garrett Co. Fair. Tomorrow its Dillon Carmichael. Hot beer... and Saturday im à watchin the démolition derby. Yahoo.
The fairgrounds are very interesting because they remind you of old-fashioned fairs with old buildings and pavilions. I attended for a VW show in the parking lot and got to enjoy the grounds wonderful views of the surrounding hills and the lake. Easy to find, easy to get to, near other amenities like food and gas!
Came up for Dubs at the Lake car show. Had a blast. Bathrooms could have used a really good cleaning though.
