Garnachas & Beer - Guatemalan restaurant in North Hills - 8755 Parthenia Pl, USA

It's always nice eating here with my parents. It's a little bit of my parents culture in one space. I love the restaurant and their food 😋 😍. I very much recommend 💕🥳 The Garnachas are my favorite, but also their flour tortilla with Asada was also pretty delicious.

Craving food from the heart of the Mayan world, so I figured I’d check this place out. Came on a Tuesday evening, around 8:00-ish. Ordered Famosa beer and some garnachas. Server was really nice. We talked about Guatemala … where she’s from, where in Guate I’ve been, etc … Just a nice, quiet, and low-key dining experience. Looking forward to coming again!

Food portions were very large and generous and prices reasonable, sopa de mariscos was great, bit the other two chicken dishes, one chicken was uncooked and the other didn't taste good. The quality of the meat was pretty bad. Service was great and they were attentive

Very busy place for bland food, overpriced, short staffed. Waitress complained of getting only 10 minutes to eat, bad attitude of course, I don’t blame her. They charge their own tip when only came around once. Charged for the pricier plate, which we didn’t have, staff arguing in front of customers which was bad, bad.

Setting area is outside due to COVID-19, it's hot outside during the summer, so I would recommend to go at night. The food and the service was perfect, and they have plenty of parking for customers.

Great place to eat and dance, the dj plays great music as well! Really recommend for those who have been wanting to come!

For me this "Guatemalan" restaurant needs a major upgrade!!! The whole restaurant smells like they never cleaned in years. Apart from how horrible the food is, their services is below standards. I ordered some red wine, the wine tasted like if it had been sitting there for ages. Normally I don't complain but this wine was just below standards.

This “restaurant “ doesn’t even deserve 1 star!! Sorry but the people who is saying this place is any good , are either people who has never tried real good Guatemalan food or does not have any taste at all. This place cannot even called a restaurant, food is disgusting, I believed the chicken empanadas where rotten because they taste sour, and the sea food soup!! 😂😂😂 a maruchan taste better than that. Please hire people who knows how cook , it’s totally a shame for a so called guatemalan restaurant. Just bad, never again.
