A great place for a hike. Flat and gentle routes as well as some seriously steep and challenging routes to the top which are not for the feint hearted

Beautiful serene place with friendly hikers go easy or make it tough. Lots of trails to choose from.

Free parking, lots of trail variations. The climb up to the panorama just past Snively's ridge is worth the elevation gain! Excellent park for a few hours of hiking, beautiful when it's misting, foggy, overcast or clear and sunny. Trailheads are all generally well marked, download the trail map and you'll be set.

This is one of the best off leash hiking areas I've been too. We just did a short one hour hike and had lunch at their picnic bench area. Our dog loved jumping in the river and even a pond/swamp she found too. There were a lot of little kids there which makes me a little nervous because we have a high energy German Shepherd but no one seemed to mind. The hike is pretty steep but it had some nice views.

Update- seasonal entrance is open now (Apr-Nov), some families and dogs 🐶 enjoying the stream. Dragonfly couple were spotted too. Very nice park 🏞, both easy and difficult hiking with a large variety of trails. Lupine loop is the first trail to the left after crossing the small bridge. Open entrance is now near the bridge, actual park entrance is currently blocked off. Handy tip in the map for the waterfall which only runs after major rains.

Beautiful outdoors recreation area. It was my first time but this place appears to have trails ranging in intensity from flat to maybe level 3 (out of 10). Hikers looking for a good workout can find some spots along the trails that should meet their needs.

We went on a hike to the waterfall for the second time, and it's totally dry. We hope the water will fall when there's more rain soon. From the park entrance it takes about 15 minutes at a leisurely pace with my beautiful husky.

Amazing area. There are a lot of hiking trails to he done here. The trails that I saw were well paved and big enough to be considered family friendly in my eyes. There is even a place to dip in the Carmel River. Would definitely research what trial you want to take before you go.

We went here for brunch. The food was great, my eggs were perfectly over easy and the pancakes were lightly crisped on the outside side and fluffy on the inside. They also have a range of juices that can be used for the mimosas, which is great becau
