Beautiful well kept trails shared with horses and pups. Quiet & serene.

This place is awesome!!! It's so huge yet not crowded! We enjoyed having the forest for ourselves. Lots of shade. We have met only 4 people and one horse. Plenty of mushrooms here! We will definitely come back soon!

Easy hiking trails (but no trail running allowed), popular with horses too. We hiked 10 miles, but it's easy to go shorter if you want to. Well shaded for a hot day. Great place to see dung beetle rolling dung balls if you like to see that type of thing! We saw an 8" tortoise on the path too.

Great facility and support group. Friends of Garland Mountain Trails (FGMT) truly keep the facility and trails tip top. The pavilion is such an asset for group outings

Great hike. Did 10 miles in about 3.5 hours in 30 degrees weather. Highly recommended and relatively easy trails. Crossed few creeks but wasn’t bad at all even in the cold.

Really awesome if you enjoy semi-rough terrain. A lot of uphill battles. Make sure you don’t miss your turn on foot or you’ll find yourself a mile out of the way. 😂

One of my favorite trails I've been on! A nice shady place to walk, beautiful woods, and everyone on the trail was friendly. It is narrow, so be mindful as a lot of people ride horses on this trail, especially if you take your dog like I do. But definitely a nice trail and lots of different options of routes to walk! Also a great parking lot!

I rescued two fur babies that were found here back in July 2014. A bucket of 11, 6 week old babies were left in a big red bucket. All were adopted in 2 days, so the sad turned into happy. Mine are 4 years old now. And I camp and hike with them regularly. They've seen the mountains, the beach and ocean. I know I got the best two in the bunch. They are just so precious.
