Lots of nature and trails to enjoy paved/non paved trails. This place is perfect for morning & evening walks. It is very peaceful. Also plenty of deer to see as well. 🦌
This park is having major renovations going on at this time. It's still a great place for a picnic.

8/22/2023 It's a very large park with construction going on in several places. One such project is the restoration of Wolf's Lake or Pond. We found several areas with picnic tables - we walked about & settled at Red Wolf(?) picnic area for lunch & board games (has a playground & restrooms on site). 10/24/23 We returned &, driving by, I noticed the reconstructed Garfield Pond has water in it. No walking today, played games/board games in the pavilion & enjoyed the sun shining on our table.
This was my first visit to this park and I feel like this will be my go to park when I'm in town
A great walk. Mostly stroller friendly but there are a few paths that are not. Wildlife seems to be very friendly so beware. But it's a great park to go hiking in.
This is a nice place to walk in the woods, there is a stream with a small water fall. However this place is under construction as of March 2024. There are Excavators, scaffolding and bricks on some of the pathways. There is a park for kids to play, but no electricity near the picnic area.
Very beautiful Park, there's a lot of trails to walk on and many places to picnic. I love the hills on both sides of the path, because you have to use a little more energy to get up them.

My friend and I went to this park just so we could sit outside for a bit since we had been driving a while. It is nice. We sat on a bench under a tree, watching squirrels. There's currently some construction going on but no one was out there working
The Preschool Graduation was the perfect event to have here. I absolutely LOVE this park ð and everything it has to offer...I'll be happier once they've completed the renovations.
