Garden Suite Hotel - Featured Reviews (758)
Don’t be fooled! Stayed here a couple times because of the convenient location but today will be my last. The rooms are always slightly dirty but I didn’t mind for the price. This time was different. Tons of black mold and poop stains were found not only in the bathroom! The AC didn’t work all night and the room is 79 degrees. When asking for help we were told there is no manager or front desk person from midnight till 9am. One of the worst stays I have experienced in awhile. Buyer beware!
SUBPAR - It did not meet our expectations for the price. It had a red-roof inn or motel - 6 feel to it. The hotel had an odor that made it smell like it was old. The room was very basic, no ironing board, no iron, no microwave, no coffee maker, no clock. The furniture in the room was old & didn't match. They had an old fashioned yellow or discolored phone in the room. They had an old fashioned cable box bolted to the dresser that was welted with bubbles on the surface of the dresser. No food close by. The area looked & felt unsafe. There is a super market across the street from the hotel but it didn't look safe to go to, plus there wasn't a microwave in the room so there was no point going to the super market? Nothing luxurious or special about the hotel. The shower/tub has an apartment feel to it. The TV did not work. The room is creepy, it seems like it is a place for someone to go to if they want to have some quick sex & get back on the road. There was a naked man outside the hotel pacing short distances back & forth along with intermittently attempting to climb the tree. What a waste of money to stay at the Garden suite hotel & resort. DO NOT STAY at the Garden Suite Hotel.
I have had better rooms.
The room looks nasty. The chair has stains on it. The room was also very small. The pillows are thin.
I have not tried their service.
They also asked for $300 deposit. I asked them why so expensive? More expensive than the room it self.
We booked this hotel because of its proximity to the Wiltern Theater. The bed was not comfortable, but we were so tired from the drive, we zonked off for a little mid-afternoon nap before we left for some adventurous driving through LA. On our return we find that the restaurant, that says opened 11am to 11pm was closed. It was 6pm. I asked an employee where he recommended for dinner and he steered us to a Korean restaurant, or McDonalds. We went elsewhere. ||Next morning we ventured down to have breakfast and the place was closed. I asked if they were going to open. Grumpy lady said "no" with no further explanation or recommendation. There is a sitting area that was closed we assume was for the second Korean restaurant on site that appeared to be abandoned. No food. We went to McDonalds. ||The shower has a sign that states that if you do any water damage, they will charge us $200. The bathroom door was already damaged with dry rot. We took a picture of the door and the shower. We did NOT take a shower for fear they would blame us. We were checking into another hotel the next day, so we took showers there. ||When we got there, we didn't know where to park. We parked on the first level and was told that was not for guests. There were only two other cars. The valet window was closed. We went down a floor and parked. There were no other cars. I think the upstairs was for the two employees that were there, and we were the only guests which could explain why the restaurants were closed.||The only positive thing I could say about this place is that we received free parking because we booked through their website. I think because there was no one to man the valet. This was just bizarre and a bit spooky.
The hotel looks fancy and nice but you will get what you pay for!!
My husband and I stayed just one night but the room quality was so bad and we didn't feel welcome when we walked in.
For the room quality, we like the bath booth but the water faucet ,on the counter, was so wobbly it turned in any direction. so I used two hands to turn on/off the water.
After washing my hand, I got the towel to dry my hands, then the metal hanger just fell down from the wall!!
when you flush the toilet, be careful! it might be over flooding! Luckily, it didn't but almost!!
we had one king bed, it was firm that we liked, but my husband and myself bumped our toes at the corner every time we walked by. Maybe that's our toes fault...
Finally, the location is perfect for walking to restaurants and to public transportation. But I wasn t comfortable smelling marijuana in the hotel.
I do not want to visit this hotel in the future anymore!
We chose this hotel , due to a concert across the street at the Wiltern Theatre. The room was clean, nothing fancy. Good AC, fridge. Nice hot water from the shower. There are two restaurants in the hotel, also Macdonalds on one side and a Dennys beside the Wiltern.
Parking is underground. The area is walker friendly.
The photos are from one of the restaurants in the hotel.
If I could give this place negative stars, I would! The best thing about it was the location to The Wiltern. I was able to get there quickly and easily. Aside from that, the service is trash and rooms were basic (the shower was nice though).
Due to the service alone, I will NEVER stay here.
We came to LA for a birthday party and didn’t want to pay rent for one night in a hotel lol. They were super clean and not too expensive. I will come back again. Very easy check in as well. Delicious restaurant in the hotel as well.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff were super friendly, rooms were clean and spacious and the bedding was incredibly comfy! Loved the free coffee & pastries each morning. If you have a car, the secure parking is so worth it & made us fee
I love the environment at FBBCHLP! Everyone there is very supportive towards one another throughout the workouts and challenges. Iâve learned so much about my nutrition, mental health and physical strength. I would definitely recommend this place t
I was amazed by the authentic Japanese cuisine at UKA, and being Japanese myself, I believe this restaurant truly captures the essence of our culinary heritage. The chefs' attention to detail brought out flavors that transcended mere appearance, leav

I can't speak more highly of this amazing establishment. My friends and I came hungry and were treated to some of the most authentic and delicious plant-based / cruelty-free dishes. I ordered a little assortment and each one became my favorite!

Valentina and Helen are absolutely wonderful trainers. They always go out of their way to help everybody out: always giving adjustments to improve posture and performance. I always book a session when one of them is there. They also play great music.
My time at this gym has been nothing short of exceptional! I recently hit my 1 year anniversary and am proud to be a member of CrossFit Echo Park. At first I was hesitant about joining CrossFit in general due to thinking it was just a bunch of rugged
