Everything, and I mean everything, in the room is sticky, anyone over 5' will have a hard time in the tiny shower
Very old but fairly clean, some minor updates could make it so much better. It was cold and the heat worked fine in room #1 ac/heat unit looked fairly new. TV volume went up and down for no reason, I forgot to report it to the owners so I'm not even sure if they know. It was fine for just overnight and only $45. I still think that sink fixtures should be replaced ASAP. The mattress is a full but comfy
I'll be back. Ideal for the business traveler, quite, comfortable and clean. Has tv, heat, a/c, hot water and restaurant & coffee shop right in the same parking lot. Good parking for trailers in tow. No smoking allowed, which i liked allot.
While this is not a 5 star hotel because of it's appearance, it was very clean, a new TV, good ac/heater, fridge and microwave, and a great manager. I kinda liked how it was not modern. It appears there was a remodel done to make it newer. But the wood walls (not paneling), old bathroom tiles, made this place really unique. I really liked staying at a place that was old school looking inside. The manager (not sure if he was owner) was super friendly.
They use to be a really nice little place. We’ve stayed there off and on for about 6 years when out seeing family but this last trip the room was disgusting there were people walking about outside all night checking out visitors cars and the management did nothing about it.
We went out once for ice before bed and then next morning were told
That we’d be slamming doors and traffic in and out all night. I told her she could pull my records of staying their over years and there’s never been an issue. And that we did get some ice but we never left room and had no visitors nor did my car leave till morning for breakfast and I’d like to see some proof or evidence of this. I was told they had none and wouldn’t provide any explanation. This place has gone down hill to a very unsafe place to stay. We did see some unsavory characters going in and out before we laid down and my husband noticed while at drink machine some shady folks meeting people at room doors exchanging things. Seems owners couldn’t provide security showing were my car was said to have been going in and out. I wouldn’t feel safe staying their anymore anyway if they can’t provide security and identity what’s going on in their own And whatever Deals were going on around back but I’d think twice before staying their with my family
Rooms are clean, service is good, price for the room is $55 a day, and it's quiet nobody don't come around knocking on your doors I like it
Great owners. Comfortable rooms with cable and nice hot water you don't have to wait for to heat up. I never have problems when I stay here.
A pleasant old motel run by Jay and Beverly Patel. August 4, 2014 my room was $40.00 plus tax.
They also run a combination coffee shop and ice cream shop on the property. The coffee was grand.
Standard diner feel. This is a stop on my Stanly County Breakfast tour and one thing that stands out here is the price. Definitely a good price for the quality. And they seem to have hand shredded hashbrowns. Or at least it seemed like it. They also
