This place is absolutely fantastic. the people employed here go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcome in Pinedale. Everyone we encountered had a great attitude and enjoyable conversations. The rooms were always clean. The ease of access to everything in town is fantastic, walking distance to everything. They also are flexible on check in for later times. Our family is already planning a vacation for next year and we will be returning. Service like that is hard to find these days and a breath of fresh air.
Nothing fancy, but this place is clean and nice. The bed is comfortable. We stayed in a room with a king bed. Pillows were also comfortable. If you’re used to “ luxury” towels, you might want to bring your own. Also, there aren’t any tissues; you’ll need to use toilet paper. This place is good and priced right if you make reservations early.
Traveling thru Pinedale by bike, riding the GDMBR. Truly a special place to stay. So nice, I added another day of rest to stay here longer. The great staff even does cyclists’ laundry for free (we don’t have much since we are traveling by bike) but it was such a welcome surprise. Situated in the heart of town, I walked to many great restaurants and a museum. Amazing stay, affordable and can’t wait to come back!
My son, mom, and I spent 5 days at Gannett Peak. When we arrived, Marlon was great at getting us checked in and showing us our room. We explored throughout the mountains and Pinedale for the week. |One night we decided to grill in front of our room for supper. Marlon cleaned up the grill, brought it over, and set us up with charcoal to use. |We were fortunate enough to have some time to visit with Sofia and Forrest. They were both so kind. |Keke was our housekeeper for the week. Each morning she would catch us as we left and ask if we wanted the same things done to our room as the day before. She was sweet and we enjoyed visiting with her and learning about how she came from the Dominican Republic to work in Western WY for a summer.
We stayed in rooms 6 and 7 for a few days while visiting my sister and preparing to head into the mountains for a 5 day backpack trip. The rooms are small but comfortable, clean, and smartly appointed. Staff was kind and helpful and you are easily able to walk to a dozen or so restaurants and the "Food and Stuff" (also known as Ridley's). Only suggestion would be to bring your own multi-outlet extension cord as these are older construction and outlets for electronics are at a premium.
First time ever to Pinedale WY and needed something with no stairs and accessible.|I had recently fractured my foot and this cabin met both myself and husbands expectations. The cute blue fridge and microwave was very unique, and had a retro look. The room was so clean and even the outdoor furniture was wiped down and enjoyable. The flower baskets had a warm welcome vibe and we noticed no mosquitos or any other bugs present. If ever we come to Pinedale again, this is a definite place to stay again.
Great stay, this is a remarkably well maintained lodge with a very friendly and helpful staff. Originally built in the 40's for the CCC it has been remodeled and is conveniently located at the center of Pinedale just a block off of the main street. The rooms are updated, cozy and immaculately kept. It's a quiet location and a perfect base for nearby activities and trips into the Wind River Range. I just loved the "Wyoming Gold" painted doors to each room!
My husband and I attended the Fishing for the Fight Tournament and stayed in Pinedale for a few days. We were excited that Gannett Peak Lodge was so wonderful! The check in was so easy and our room was so cute, comfortable and very clean!! We were able to walk to the shops, park and grocery store. We will be back!
