GameStop - Video game store in New Castle - 2519 W State St, USA

I've been going to this location since it opened, never had a bad experience. The comments I'm reading below are border line comical, it's hard to decipher which negative feedback is legitimate and which are just customers who are just salty because they only got offered 40 cents store credit for a scratched up copy of Lego batman for the Nintendo wii.

The man I spoke to was very condescending. All I wanted was a PS5, for me. Not my boyfriend, or husband, or a gift for my brother or someone else... Me. He had no problem talking to the male customers that were there but I would ask questions and he gave me very short one worded answers. I haven't been to this gamestop in years since New management took over, and I won't be stopping back in. It's 2023. There are female gamers. Get over it.

I don’t really enjoy going in here anymore, Tyler is the best employee they have ! The new employee who started working there acts disgusted by my children every time they walk in the door and touch anything ! It’s a game store dude ! Get a job you enjoy =)

There is absolutely zero reason for this place to exist anymore. Like I’m going to trust the opinion about a game from one person working behind a counter who is probably more interested in making a sale than being honest. We all now possess the ability to go online and view thousands of reviews for a product. We can then purchase the product at a far cheaper price than this establishment. So what is the point exactly?

I don’t know why anyone goes to GameStop anymore period, but this one is the worst I’ve ever been to. I’m completely done with this company. I’d rather not play a game if I can’t find it anywhere else than buy it here. The entire staff should be fired

I was in there with my 12 year old son and one worker kept staring at my chest as we were checking out. It made me very uncomfortable. As we were leaving I turned around to say thank you and he was looking at my behind. I will never go back there.

The scraggly long haired dude is about the most unfriendly and condescending person I've ever dealt with in retail. They lost a 400 dollar plus sale because of that guy. I'll go purchase my console elsewhere

My grandson and I were in the store and the workers were using profanity. I asked them to please stop and they looked at me and kept doing it. My grandson and I left immediately. We will never go back there.
