Game X Change - Video game store in Paragould - 1707 W Kingshighway, USA

I love coming here for picking up Gunpla models, comic books, retro games and consoles. The staff are usually pretty nice, and they keep the store clean. The organizational system is easy enough for anyone to find what they're looking for. That said, here comes the gripe. The stock can sometimes be stale, keeping a lot of the same inventory on shelves for a long time. I do understand that they have limited space and most of their inventory is traded in stuff. Buy they do also sell brand new items as well. For the life of me though, I don't understand why brand new inventory isn't rotated more often. Like, I was told that they had boxes and boxes of new stuff in the back, but they're not allowed to rotate or even put any of this new stuff on the shelf until their district manager comes to do inventory of their stock room. If that guy could be a little more active and get this done more frequently, it would definitely make a weekly visit more worthwhile. Still worth visiting first before going to GameStop or some random flea market if you're searching to add to any hobby collection.

Had tons of games, consoles, and accessories. Counter person was friendly and knowledgeable

They didn't have what I wanted "USB C end cable with a HDMI reverse end" but they where cool and told me where I could aquire it.

I love going here to look at the movies or games and picking up something while I'm there

It's what I want from a game store. Nerdy guys behind the counter that leave you alone. A good selection and decent prices. Nice figs occasionally. If you're wanting to make a living off selling them used movies and games you won't like them.

Can't say either way if it is a good store or not because I only made a phone call inquiring about getting a game console fixed. I was on the official website before I placed my call and it says that some stores can make repairs in store and some stores may have to send your console off for repairs but it says they do repairs either way however when I talked to the employee at Paragould store he said that they don't do repairs at all. That being said it sways me more toward disliking the store, maybe an in person visit would be better but overall I was not pleased.

This Game X Change has it stuff together. One of the cleanest most out together stores I've been to. Keep up the good work Paragould Ar.

It's a good place to buy games movies ETC... very cheap even on a budget, but don't trade in your trading cards. I did this and they didn't even bother sorting them out or even look at all of them. I had a Mega Charizard EX full art that goes for around $43 and they gave me $17 in store credit. They legit said they were gonna do all the cards as bulk and that's just NO.
