Cultural Center and museum in Gallup is free but I always suggest making donation for the museum and it's upkeep
What a great place! The former El Navaho Hotel and Santa Fe Railway Station is still a working Amtrak station but also houses a wonderful museum upstairs. We learned so much about the Gallup region! The museum is free, but donations are appreciated. Angela's Cafe, a nice place to get a sandwich for lunch, is downstairs.
A sorry if a catch-all location for restaurant, bakery, giftshopping, trainspotting, and a Navajo Code Taller exhibit. Santa Fe retail car up front, statue of a Marine, and a plaque honoring author of the book 'Sagebrush Lawyer'. An old defunct Amtrak station too. Interesting place, zero points for customer service. Visit for your own joy.
We were honored to learn the history of Gallup and the Navajo culture with Terrie at the Gallup Cultural Center. Her commitment and heart were so evident. If you are in the area you must stop by; you will be inspired. We returned in the evening to watch the Zuni Dance group perform!
The bakery was nice to wait for the train 🚆 and had good cookies and coffee.
This was a unique and wonderful experience to see all of the one of a kind historical artifacts and also the art pieces! If you're passing through or even if you're from the area, this place is worth it to check out!

Wanted to visit but the inside was temporarily closed but we enjoyed the statues out front. Next time we are out this way from Oklahoma we will hopefully get to visit.

We enjoy the new Lost Raiders here in a very nicely done old theater. We were only ones there and sat in the perfect spot. The staff was friendly and the restrooms were clean. We park right out front also. The seat are the most comfortable I have sat
Front of house was spotless! The people here take pride in their space. All 3 serving staff visited our table and were friendly. Great team and great service. Biscuits and gravy were fantastic, as was coffee.

Excellent products, they have a lot of organic and out of town products. Recently (posted January 2023) they upgraded their refrigerators and produce aisle. It looks awesome! It's always a pleasure to go here and they take EBT(SNAP) also.
Shopping experience was great ð staff are welcoming ð and very knowledgeable in finding all the items I needed ð definitely going back for more shopping ð¤ ð¤
At Angelaâs Cafe, everyone is treated like a local. The staff here are genuine, friendly and attentive. Sitting at the counter gave us the opportunity to really admire the decorations and read all the hilarious signs.

What a wonderful experience and to see how this hotel is blessing so many by working with project search is so special. The breakfast staff was simply wonderful and so full of kindness and joy. Even when it got really busy they never lost their smile
