Galleria Guesthouse - Lodging in Key West - 1016 Howe St, USA

Rooms are small as the photos on Travelocity showed. Rooms are nice, the bed was wonderfully comfortable. The virtual check in process was extremely smooth. While they were not on site the staff were very accessible and responsive via text. The pool and deck area was great, cozy. Moondog Cafe is about five minutes walk for great food. Green Parrot is about 8 minutes for great live music. If you aren’t a high maintenance traveler these rooms will do you wonderfully.

Stayed in room number 6 on the first floor. The room is as advertised very small with the double bed pushed up against the wall. Small window air conditioner that barely keeps the room cool. The kitchenette has a small fridge, microwave, countertop oven and dishes, etc. The only lights in the room are the bright ceiling lights. Neighborhood is definitely on the sketchy side.

The room was fine and comfortable the hot plate did not work for us and we do try and cook breakfast to not go out so much it actually tripped the breaker during our stay , the first night was dark since when we got there the kitchen light was out as well as the bedroom but we got ahold of the ppl in charge and they had maintenance there the next day by noon and they had us light for our second night, all in all a great little spot right by fort Zachery beach they are very attentive, we were able to enjoy our stay . One more thing the private pool was also nice we never had to share it with anyone else during our stay as well as the free laundry mat on site .

First trip to Key West. Lets start with the negatives: 1) Didn't have any dedicated parking during our stay - very hard to find parking otherwise. 2) Confusing to find our Claud Monet Suite, which turned out to be a ... STUDIO apartment??? Pictures would have helped. Master bed was in the kitchen (unrenovated kitchenette???), and an uncomfortable loveseat pullout in the livingroom. This suite has 2 rooms (no doors/privacy), plus a really nice renovated bathroom with door. 3) Extremely loud air-conditioners and light switches/pull cords were all confusing as to what works where. Found an exposed outlet below AC unit in master/kitchen. 4) Second (last) night, we (our daughter) noticed the black specks falling from ceiling and onto her bed. Guessing old dust, but should have been cleaned before we arrived. Plusses: 1) Pool was nice to have. Small but clean and working. Easy access from Suite. Also had disability chair, if needed, to enter pool - looked to be in working order. 2) Hosts had many towels available for use. Beds and bedding were clean!!! 3) All kitchenette appliances worked (microwave, mini fridge, Keurig). Hosts also had a small supply of Keurig Pods for us, but you should also bring your own. We brought filter coffee because we were unaware of the Keurig being available. 4) Hosts did contact us by email to see if we needed anything. I felt it would have been nicer to get a text (more personal). 5) Location was good and within walking distance of everything. Please be prepared for the weather. Overall, at this price-point, high but understandable for Key West. Yes, the property needs some attention. This place is really small for 3 people, but cute for a young couple on a short stay.

Good morning! I stayed at Gallery GuestHouse in Keywest last week and I forgot some items at the hotel. I was in the room 3 and checked out on Friday - May,17. One of the items was a white JBL wireless headphone. I didn’t find the lost and find area or the website with phone number to call, could you check it please? Thank you.

We stayed in room #6 at the Galleria Guesthouse for 2 nights. Although it is a small space it has every amenity you could need. It was very clean, as well. Don't worry about the location either because it was very quiet and everyone was very friendly. The Duval Loop bus stop is one block away (I would recommend riding the bus as it was very convenient and free). Overall this was the perfect place to stay in Key West for a long weekend.

This was exactly as described. Very very small but fine for the two of us. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner was cool. From reading the reviews, we knew beforehand that the bathroom would get water all over the floor during a shower so we were prepared. It drained rather quickly.. |We were outside most of the time and the weather and the pool was lovely! We rented bikes as we had no car and were very close to Fort Zachary beach and Duvall street- really close to everything on such a small island. |Check in and out was easy!! They accommodated our early check in. |I’m really glad to have experienced Key West here. It was quiet and pleasant.. very cozy. No complaints other than it was really expensive for such a small place but I guess location is the “key”||Amy and Kevin|Rockford, Illinois

Stated here in room number 6. Place was perfect. Bed was comfortable the room was clean. The added bikes were awesome. We did not use the pool but it looked fabulous. We love it here. The rooms are small but have everything you need. Tip don’t bring tons of luggage it’s a small place.
