Great location with sidewalks right into town from the property. Beautiful views of the meadow and Cannon Mountain from most of the rooms and the pool area. Hot tub was great and the pool was clean. The property is a bit dated but the beds were comfortable and the house was spacious for our group. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking needs. The motel rooms seemed to have A/C, but the house did not. We brought fans (there were 2 there) and it was a life saver in the heat. The manager was very kind, helpful and attentive to making sure we had what we needed. Will return again.

The only thing I can say that was good about this experience was the friendliness and helpfulness of the manager and owner. However, the rest of my stay was disappointing. The room was very outdated and in dire need of repairs. There was rust on the doors, the closet door didn't close, and the toilet seat was loose, among other things. The towels were worn and discolored, the sheets were rough, the coffee pot, fridge, and microwave were dirty, and there was dust on the fixtures and lamps. I expected better than what we got, especially for what we paid.

It was our first time staying at this small family run motel. I give it an overall three stars because the website made it seem like they were many more amenities and that it had a real family feel. However, the property was sold in the spring, and the website has not been updated to reflect all of the changes. Perhaps we were there a little too early in the summer season, but the pool was not really quite ready to enjoy. It needed some cleaning and filtering, and there was some crumbling concrete that I felt could be dangerous. Also the website mentions two hot tubs, we were told the inside one is only for winter months, which I get, but the outside one was also not open yet. The one staff person who was our contact 24 hours and came to work hard in the pool to get it ready for us was very nice, and I definitely give her five stars for being personable and attentive. We happen to have a lot of rain, so swimming wasn't really on our mind anyway. But she did see our note about requesting extra towels, an answered any of our questions. We paid a little extra for the executive room which had a small coffee maker and mini fridge. The location is outstanding. Not just because you're in the middle of Franconia, but there is an absolutely gorgeous view of Canon mountain which you can enjoy from the pool, sitting in front of your room in comfortable Adirondack chairs, or on the grounds. They do have a barbecue grill to use, but again... We had rainy days. The property also offers some cottages which I would have liked to have gotten a look inside. Oh, there were a few board games in the room closet, which I thought was a nice touch, especially for families.

Found this place at the last minute and glad I did. Room was nice and clean. Great homestyle touches with sitting chairs, towels made nicely on the bed, and even some board games to use in the closet. Check in was a piece of cake. Keyless entry and the motel emailed your room code the morning of check in. Didn't even have to go to the front desk at all. Yes some of the fixtures are old but that's what makes this quaint place very nice.

I’m a bit late with this review but better late than never. There were 3 of us and we stayed in the executive room. It was super clean. Kevin was very nice and helpful, and we could tell that he cares about his property and his guests. The bathroom is small, so take a hanging toiletry bag for easy access to your necessities since there isn’t a vanity to spread things out on. I would also recommend a power strip just to make it easier for everybody in your party to charge their devices. We never heard any noise from other rooms. We didn’t try out the pool because even summer in NH isn’t hot enough for our southern selves to get in a pool lol! It’s a great place to stay with a great view. It’s relaxed and away from the hustle and bustle. It was nice to come back each evening to the quiet, peaceful surroundings. The location is wonderful for exploring.

Easy 5 star review. Even before I arrived I was greeted with professionalism. I advised them early on my family and I would be arriving after check-in hours and we were easily accommodated and updated as our date of stay approached. Entire property is clean and inviting. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!

We stayed for 2 nights to enjoy the TricycleNH Fat Bike Event. The room was very clean and spacious. Appreciated that it had a good size refrigerator and a microwave and coffee pot. The beds were comfy and the views of Lafayette and Cannon were stunning!! Easy check-in process. Great location. We will definitely come back! Thank you!

Unfortunately can’t say I’d stay again. Check-in was confusing as they asked us to come anytime after 3 due to a late check out and wanting the room to be “up to standards for our arrival.” Then no one was there for check-in when we arrived at 3:45. Took about an hour to get ahold of someone on the phone to get a room code to access the room. Another couple who arrived the same time as us had similar issues as well. Bed was decently comfortable, nothing to write home about but the room reeked of cigarettes. Bathroom was soaked when we arrived, both the tub and sink faucets were running. Good location but wouldn’t stay again, had to wash all of my clothing/ jackets and bags as soon as I got home to get rid of the smell. I would have thought for $130+ the experience would have been a tad better, I get that it’s a dated motel but it smelled like someone chain smoked cigs in there hours before our arrival.
