When ever I come Los Angeles Galaxy Inn is my go to motel for a few years now. The rooms are always clean and smell good , the beds in every room that I’ve had the experience to stay in are big , very clean and comfy. When compared to other motel in the same area the rates are very competitive and reasonable for it’s location , just 10 minutes for LAX. The rooms now have wood floors which is a new addition since my last stay ,so no need to worry about funny smells that are common in carpeted motels. The staff is wonderful and work hard to make guests feel comfortable. The appliances are very clean, the fridge is very cold and the microwave is powerful. The bathrooms are very clean with excellent water pressure. I absolutely love the old motel style appearance of the outside. Very well preserved and maintained. I Highly recommended this motel to anyone who is visiting Los Angeles. There are plenty of coffee shops, landmark restaurants such as Jonnies pastrami, Tito’s Tacos , Fat burgers all within walking distance.
Easy to park. Since we had a car, finding a hotel that offered parking for free was our priority. The room was decent, the bed was not bad and the washroom is old but works fine. Super, super loud inside the bedroom. You can hear neighbors rooms and the cars in the avenue really loud from insider the room, all night. Room should be more soundproof. A kind of a old smell in the room; bed sheets had a role. The door from our bedroom was almost broken. Needs fixing. It overcharges from what it offers - but sadly LA is an expensive area and since we needed a hotel w parking, there were not many options available.
Have been at the hotel for 3 nights my wife and I when we first walked in very strong smell of cleaning supplies bathroom was very clean as well as the room. Today when we left my wife had a necklace of a considerable value fall off her neck the housekeeping lady found it brought it to us when we got back 7 hours later as soon as we walked in the door and said hey I think you guys dropped this rooms are dated yet accommodating. There are several bars and restaurants and walking distance also 30 yards from a gas station about what you would expect for what you're paying
The room was clean. Looked nice enough. No frills or bells n whistles.. Bed was comfortable...a bit on the firm side which I prefer. The comforter did have 2 small cigarette burns...bit of a turn off but the sheets were crisp n clean. I was really tired n sleepy so I didn't whine about it to management. There was a live band across the street playing some pretty good music.
Definitely the worst hotel in LA! The service is the worst of the worst! The fellow immediately asked to cancel on my reservation when I said I didn't bring the same credit card I used for the booking. I have other cards under my very same name, though. I WISH I just went somewhere else immediately!!!! But then I asked him if I can see the room, he said no, that should already raise a big red flag! I didn't want to go anywhere else because otherwise I would have to Uber to somewhere else. This guys canceled on me but said I can make a new booking using the other credit card. I did it and found out he put me to the ground floor close to the road!!! Wooooooooooow, impressively hurtful!!! I asked him if I can cancel the room, he immediately said no!!! I went to the room and found the room was actually BAD! Noisy, dingy, OLD and unclean! I thought that it doesn't have a window but it did HAVE! But on the outside!!! Who would ever open the window when my privacy is fully made public!!!!!! I just want to stay in the hotel the least amount of time and I am glad I will only stay here for 2 nights, terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE!
It was fine until the owner came to yell at us to leave when an employee told my partner we could wait till 12 since we were waiting for him to pick our sons and I up.Would not recommend, also room smelled bad when arriving.
This was literally the worst hotel stay I've ever had. Upon check-in, the hotel demanded a $50 cash deposit against room damage. The hotel listing said nothing about a deposit; no written proof of receipt was offered. I seriously hate it when a business imposes some unforseen demand simply because they know that you're caught in that moment and have no other choice. The A/C was filled with mold or something that gave me a terrible allergic reaction. I had to use Afrin nasal spray just to breathe, and my allergies aren't normally that bad to begin with. The room I was given was at the end of a hall and had only a window facing the hall, so there was literally no natural light at all. See the photo, which was taken at 11:30 AM. I had to use the lights in the middle of the day. Everything is worn out. Immediately after simply walking into the room, I requested a change. Despite Orbitz telling me rooms were available, I was told that they were full and couldn't do anything. I've stayed in dive hotels in China that were better than this place. Stay away.

I had my first ever spin class with Monique today! She was amazing - super upbeat and made me feel welcome, comfortable, and confident from the moment I met her. I was worried about the class (âclassicâ) being too difficult for me as someone who
