I was very pleased with my experience at this Marriott. My room had a beautiful view of the lake right below the hotel, and was super-clean and quiet. In the morning I went for a walk by a nice path along the lake. I got everything I would want in a hotel stay, in other words! My only complaint is that the room and the hotel decor felt slightly dated; for example, there were not as many electric outlets as you would get in a contemporary hotel room. But overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a family dinner on the outside patio and it was fantastic. There was a band playing across the lake that we enjoyed along with our food. The butternut squash soup was amazing and we always enjoy Marriott burgers. The wine selection was good as well. Highly recommend locals to enjoy dinner on the patio.

A big shout out to the excellent guys at the reception today on 9th June Sunday for making me feel welcome with a big smile. They helped me check in early after my long intercontinental flight and made sure i was comfortable. A hotel is more about its people than its brick and mortar rooms. Highly recommended and my hotel of choice when i am in this area. Keep up the great work. cheers.

The Gaithersburg Marriott Washingtonian Center is a fantastic hotel that I had the pleasure of staying at recently. The rooms were clean, spacious, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always available to assist with any requests. The hotel's location was perfect, situated in the heart of the Washingtonian Center, providing easy access to various shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. The on-site restaurant offered a delicious and diverse menu, and the fitness center was well-maintained and equipped with modern machines. Overall, I highly recommend the Gaithersburg Marriott Washingtonian Center for both business and leisure travelers.

We stayed here this past weekend. The hotel location is amazing. There’s are so many restaurants and shops nearby, as well as a lake with fun things for the family like paddle boats shaped like animals, a carousel, kids play area and more. There’s also an AMC theater literally right next door. The hotel itself though is a bit dated. My biggest issue was there was a dull smell of stale cigarette smoke in our room (507). I have a very sensitive nose and smelled it as soon as I walked in. It’s almost like that used to be a smoking room years ago, and the smell in still in the carpet and furniture. After 2 nights the clothes I brought back smelled like it. Also the mini fridge was VERY noisy. When it would turn on it had this whooshing noise that kept me awake for a bit each night. This happened every 10 mins are so for about 5 mins, then it would go off. The decor as well was a bit dated, but that didn’t really bother me. Overall everything else was fine. But the smell is what brought it down to a 3.

Positive: Free parking Negative: Lobby was very loud with kids and adults. Almost like nobody knew how to use their inside voice. Plus hotel didn?t regulate it. Just use your words and tell people to be quieter.

I was visiting Maryland on business for a day and stayed at this property. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I was on the 10th floor , same as concierge level facing the lake. View was very good and pleasant. Lounge was empty even at 6 30pm, and the food was delicious, though.||My stay was very relaxed and comfortable, will always come to this place.

They stay was great. But when I booked online I paid an extra $20 for two free breakfasts. When I checked in the associate gave me a small paper with limitations for the breakfast. Very odd and off putting. Would not have wasted $20 on this.
