Food was overcooked, which resulted in a tough exterior of the duck, making it difficult to eat. Butternut Squash was creamy and delicious. Bread was perfectly toasted with butter. Beet salad was so so. I sat down at the bar and observed that the chef actually burned much food, not just mine. I guess some people don’t notice or mind, the food was still eatable. I won’t go back and the restaurant is overrated.
“The energy is so good here, it hugs you”. Love this place, can’t help but visit once a week.
Hands down the best French onion soup in Seattle, no questions. Place is always packed so be prepared to wait outside if you show up during peak hours. May need to share a table with others. Bar seating is usually our go to. Not your fine dining experience but the food is superb! Tried the poutine frites with mushroom gravy - absolutely delicious. A lot going on in this small space so don’t expect an intimate quiet date. Great weekend spot for an adult beverage and high quality food.
Went on recommendation and was not disappointed! The burger was delicious, and with the pairing of the fries (love mine crunchy) and homemade garlic aioli...very yummy! The cocktails were unique, and came together wonderfuly!
Wanted to love it but was disappointed. The vibe is cool and a little divey, and the staff were nice. The prices are decent but the drinks were just fine and the food was fine or not good. The duck confit was dry, the wilted kale tasted off, potatoes were dry and fries were super crispy and dry. We also waited a long time for our food (granted it was a Friday) but the waiter was very apologetic and said he’d jump in and help get our dessert out faster if necessary. Crème brûlée was nice but isn’t it always good? There is better French food elsewhere in Seattle for slightly more expensive that we will be returning to.
Always solid. Soulful place with consistent good food and service. Always get the French onion soup. Steak and frites great. Lots of tasty cocktails too. Particularly love the Sinthensizer with bourbon. Manifique!
Not sure why so many good reviews. Staff are definitely nice and ambient tried to be cool. But food and cocktails are not on the same level as the intention. We went there because it was the only place open late of the night. So it's a good place for really late night food if you are really on need. French onion soup ok. Croc Madame had weird aftertaste, like rancid. Fries were like five guys end of the day type. Tiny bits and all burned. Cocktails were terrible as you can see by the picture. Positive it was cheap.
Triple excellent. I had the beet salad and poutine, both of which were super flavorful. I would definitely go out of my way for food that good. Reasonably priced too. Service was terrific and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. Place was packed on a Saturday night and I can see why.
I do have to say that their burger is one of the best in Seattle. It was a little costly but totally worth the price for the amount of food you get. Their drink menu is great and they have some interesting cocktails. The apps I got were delicious and
