I had a delightful experience at Gabriel's Cafe, Texas Style. While the service did take a few extra minutes, because the have to bring the food from the 2nd floor, it was well worth the wait. The food, served was delicious, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend, as it offers a unique Texas-style dining experience with great service.
This is a very convenient place to get a quick bite. We came here for lunch on a all day meeting day. We got cheese dip and chip as the appetizer, southwest salad, and smoke beef taco. The cheese dip is very flavorful. However, the cheese gets cold too quickly, and it was tough to dip the chips in. The ingredients for the salad were very fresh. The vegetables were crispy. Smoke beef taco was tasty. It had a very smoky flavor. Meat was tender. It came with chip and salsa. The salsa has a strange after taste, and I did not touch the salad after 1 bite. Service was great. Our server was friendly.
I'm from Houston and I was dining around 10:30a in the restaurant and I had the most awesome service I believe her name was Monica she shared stories about her holidays and we did also. Me and my daughter Charity. While at our stay at the AT&T Conference center, we visited this cafe several times. Food, ambience and drinks were great. I loved their Mac n Cheese starter and Beyond Burger (vegetarian).
Our pre game go to spot. We go to Women's Basketball and while sometimes crowded, we've never waited for a seat. An oxymoron, but relatively healthy bar food. Good wine and beer. There is nice outside seating and the interior is lined with TVs frequently showing UT games
The bartenders and bar backs are rude wasteful and disrespectful of the customer… ex asked me to move the menu my phone and I can’t order at the bar because they need the mats that should not be placed on the customer counter side of the bar directly in the middle… management needs an overhaul here… will not come back!
Good restaurant waiter was pretty awesome. We went in at the end of the day. Not too many people were there. Xmas Eve dinner we enjoyed it.
Delicious foods and drinks can be found here at the AT&T conference center. Drinks taste unique. Soups are excellent. Carrot and ginger soup is too good! So are the other entrees and salad!
